Will Peter Lose his Memory? Maybe…

The latest SPOILER news from Kristin over at E! Online seems to indicate that Peter Petrelli, post-explosion above New York City, may be suffering from a little bit of memory loss, aka amnesia. Or as Kristin puts it: “Did you ask a question? For some reason I was thinking of Matt Damon in The Bourne Identity. Well, that was weird!” Obviously for those who don’t know, Matt Damon’s character in the Bourne films is a spy who loses his memory and spends the entire movie (and series) trying to get it back.

Kristin also gave this little tidbit about Masi:

I’m hearing that around episode eight or nine, we meet past Hiro (at the tender age of a single digit, most likely)!

I’m intrigued by the Peter as an amnesiac insinuation. It would explain a couple of things, like why Peter is locked up in some dingy jail in the Season 2 preview video. If he doesn’t know he has powers, he wouldn’t know how to get out of it. And maybe he’s stuck in a Mexican jail? Could be…
