Who Killed Kaito? The Answer Revealed — Maybe

I may be wrong, but weren’t they on opposite sides of the country? He can fly, but can he fly that fast??

Ok great theory but it fails in that Claire is in California and Kaito was in New York. West can fly but it takes an airplane at least 6 hours to get from LA to New York. Now lets assume that West can fly twice as fast as an airplane, that would there is still a three hour time difference between LA and New York. Since it was after dark when he left Claire’s house ,the earliest it could be was 8 oclock (considering daylight savings) the earliest it could be was 11 o’clock at West’s time of departure. He would then have to fly for 3 hours to get to new york by 2.am. new york time. This fails because Kaito was planning to be gone by then. There is an interesting theory, however, that Nathan is the killer because he was at the scene when kaito got his picture (he bumped into Ando) and when mrs. Petrelli got hers, at his apartment.

Don’t think so.

First, he’s not wearing a hoodie, but a zip-up jacket w/o a hood. Same one he wore at school. In addition, his jacket has white stripes around the collar, whereas the mysterious figure has a solid colored hoodie on, no stripes or anything else that we recognize.

Second, he is in California and Kaito is in New York. He would have had to fly very fast considering the time zone difference (I doubt it’s that late in New York considering Ando is still out getting the sword) and the distance.

Third, why would someone who can fly not just fly to the roof area where Kaito is located rather than coming from inside the building? Especially since he would be flying in all the way from California?

Fourth, and least significant, the hands of the person look older. They look male as well. But, this could just be them using a double for the shoot rather than calling another actor out for a full days worth of shooting.

I’m thinking this is either someone we know being used by the wrong people or it’s someone we have yet to see.

What we do know is that the person is not not tall, not fat, and that they are okay with tackling someone over a building top without fear of dying. We also know that the person had no intention of harming anyone else other than Kaito as he made no attempt whatsoever to harm Ando, and in fact made his action against Kaito seemingly because of Ando’s arrival.

ITS OVIOUS THAT THE PERSON THAT KILLED KAITO IS SOMEONE FROM THE GROUP OF THE OLDER GENERATIONED HEROES. AND ITS BEEN SAID THAT THE EVILER PERSON IS WHO KILLED KAITO. U THINK NATHAN OR WEST ARE EVILER THAN SYLAR. COME ON.

In a show where people can walk through wall, spontaneously regenerate, perform telekinesis, etc are we really arguing how realistic what speeds are realistic for a person who can fly and the time it would take to travel from LA to NY?

As for the theory itself, it’s good except that it doesn’t explain why Nathan wouldn’t just do it himself. Also, while abilities are genetically linked, the same power has been passed on yet. Still, can’t wait for answers in the coming weeks.

We dont know the attacker flew away like Nathan could have, sounds like misdirection. Maybe the killer ahs the ability is to dissapear at will, perhaps even it might have been a future Hiro! Or maybe the ability to transform into a flying creature or something. Could be a lot of things but I dont think West (though it would be cool if it was, like one of his abilities is to stay young looking, on top of the flying…)

If the killer was part of the older generation his power must be eternal youth, because when he heard Ando he ran very fast after Kaito, and I don’t think a person they age can do that.

Could it be Hiro’s sister with the ability to teleport?

I think Nathan is who put the pictures on the newspaper and the exit of the room of Peter, and he kill Kaito and he will kill his own mom because he says that she is a evil person, and he realized that they were involved on all of the exploting men, and linderman stuff, he knew they want the bomb explote on New York.

so he can change clothes faster then flying from californa to New york.

it couldnt be sylar because thats not he’s goal, he want power not kill people.

I do not think that the killer is West! However i think it is Nathan coz he bumpd into Ando and he could’ve slipped the death card in the newspaper and pinned the other deathcard for Angela Petrelli and told her to get out so she could find it.

And when the killer fell they would have to be pretty fast as it only took Ando a couple of seconds to look over the ledge and West’s Flight is be nowhere near as fast as Nathans.

Still, ther is still somthing suspicious about West as he looked thru Claire’s window.

I believe that it was Nathan for several reasons.
#1: They both fell off the roof but only Hiro’s dad is dead on the ground. So the killer must either be able to fly or recover (very very very fast) from an injury. Since I don’t believe he can recover so quickly since Ando witnessed the jump and was looking over the roof within lets say 5 seconds….then it has to be someone who can Fly or teleport.

#2: Nathan is all bent out of shape and also told his mother that she’s a very evil person. So Nathan doesn’t regards her and scum.

#3: Nathan bumped into Ando and planted the picture of Hiro’s father. (I presume)

#4: Nathan planted the picture of his momma at the apartment.

#5: Hiro’s father recognized his soon to be killer and I really doubt he even knows or has ever seen or met this West kid in California.

#6: Hiro’s father was suprised that his soon to be killer would actually plot to kill him so it had to be an unexpected person who would presummably not have had the desire to kill anyone in the past.

Well. I don’t believe it is West or Nathan that killed Kaito.
I do believe Nathan knows about the situation, however.
The person I believe to be the one who killed him is Peter. Not because he wanted to or could even stop himself really. I think he’s being controlled in a way. Maybe by that “someone” in the Company that is killing the rest of the Company.

Hmmmm…..I still need to watch this a second time because I want to figure out how many of the “original gang” there were.

Kaito says and now we are 9 (Pop Petrelli, Linderman, and Nakamura are dead) That would make the total alive down to 8. I know I am missing some people, I have a feeling the number will be 13 and they’ll be hunting one another.

Also, we never learned what Kaito’s ability was

So I’m the only person who thinks it was West. (Well done whoever created this theory)

The way Kaito was murdered suggests the murderer was a flier - anyone else would look lame using superpower of throwing his victim off a roof and making sure to fall himself.

I believe I’ve read a spoiler at this very site about West being in OWA. And if he is, then Kaito would know him and thought uncapable of murder.

Nathan wouldn’t kill, not in the state he’s now. And he wouldn’t threaten his mother, not two seconds after noticing that she could be evil after she scolded him.

Other related facts: West is cool, Kaito is (was) hot, Molly is darn annoying, Mr Muggles is ugly, Angela pwns you, Kensei must be loved by children and if that was princess, then it’s not how I pictured her.

I think the killer is one of the survivng 9 (8 with the death of Kaito), possibly someone who had different views on how the older generation of Heroes were trying to engineer the future( ie, the bomb made the world the way it was in “Five Years Gone”). See there were 2 groups, one for the bomb/ dark future and another for a future where the bombing of NYC never occurred. The Linderman Group v.s. the current generation of Heroes who fought in Kirby Plaza, this would include Kaito too since he helped Hiro. But as for who i think seen so far that could have killed him, it might be Kensei (an immortal?), a new villian( or hero depending on his motives say revenge, remember the company isn’t all that innocent, Kaito said that himself.) or it might be the big bad boogey man getting payback on The Company, whom I’m sure they know about Molly Walkers’ boogey man and have probably asked her about him. But like with Matt, she wouldn’t tell them.

I like the little idea of West. In the back of my head I’d love it if there was this evil little villain…but then again would that make him a villain to take out Kaito? Kaito helped Hiro but that’s his kid, he’s probably affiliated with the old group. The other part of me says NO Way it was West, which pushes me to think it was Nathan. I think Nathan is going crazy. He’s angry. Very to say the least. “Revenge is a dish best served cold” Especially by throwing people off buildings

You must not forget that even though we love Angela and Kaito, the OWI they created is wicked and evil organization. Angela and Linderman tried to blow up New York, Kaito’s last words were about the evil he’s done, remember that HRG tries to protect his family by fighting OWI, the guy who hired Mohinder admitted they kill heroes sometimes and the grey morality is practically in their contract.

West, young, idealistic and praising himself for “alien” outsider behaviour, is the perfect candidate for someone who joins the organization to destroy it. He can’t know that Angela and Kaito went to the light side after the explosion. Plus, having the OWI double agent at Claire’s school would make the otherwise quite boring “Be Normal!” Bennet family look a bit more interesting and a lot less exagerrating.

well first to clear up any and any misconceptions about the flying and time diffeneces…its television..anything is possible! 2nd, in my personal opinion, the likelyness of the Kaito’s killer being West is not very sound! Kaito use the phrase, ” I never would have thought it would have been you!” Showing a previous link prior to this event! it would have to be someone who knew all over the older cast members(William Defouax, Linderman, Mr. Petrelli, etc._ West is far too young to be the killer..unless of course another one if his powers is that he doesnt age! So i guess anything is possible! peace…

We are forgetting something, if I’m not mistaken, Hiro’s father say: “From all the people they could send, I never thought it would be you.”

I doubt Nathan would be sent by anyone.

remember people, that kaito was talking to moma petrelliu about all the people they’ve killed, that it could be revenge, bla bla, they wer willing to let thousnads of people die, this killer is not necessarilly bad. in season 1 there was mention of old heroes who lost their way and used their powers for personal gain, obviously one of them is linderman, and he colluded with mother and father petrelli. they also must be the ones who lost their way bla bla bla you get my point. i also think father petrelli turned good, tried to stop the explosion, and was then murdered by linderman

hey, if you look at the clip when hiros friend(forgets name) buy the newspaper, someone bangs into him if you look closelty its looks like nathan 0.o could he have pplanted that photo into the newspaper???

i think that the heroes viewers are too smart, the prime suspect is nathan, but for us it is too obvious, therefore i believe it is not nathan. we have never seen father petrelli, maybe he didnt die, but faked his death or let everyone think he was dead or watever, i think he could be the killer.

Theres also a new character in here Named Kane Tim Krings reply on this was “as an ageless American with an European feel. He is said to be a charming womanizer who as a soul that seems to be older than he appears to be.” We know that This hooded figure is petite in size..couldn’t be a big man…West is small..Kane is ageless…But Kristen Bell a new star who is “More advanced then you think she is and shes a troublemaker” Hmm Best series on TV yet!

And another thing….We are smart people and know one has thought that just maybe this new person…controls bodies against their will. Nathan did bump into Ando, maybe Nathan was under control of this person and maybe the guy who pushed Kaito off the roof is West or nathan, And Kensei could be a regenerater thats why kaito was obbsessed with him…people think outside of the box..! Molly Walkers dad was killed by being frozen Sylar must have already had that power, maybe Mollys dad does more then we think he does or It could be someone we already have met and know It must be controling. Why would someone kill about a bomb? And the voice sounded super familiar to me. Almost like Molly wasn’t scared about unknowing who he was but she was scared cause she knew exactly who he was and that scares her because..Would Molly defend her parents death? I dont think sylar was after molly I think he was under control maybe this thing is framing Sylar sometimes only sometimes like Sylar wouldn’t have lifted that women and stuck 20 knives to keep her up..Sylars sick enough to paint with his moms blood but not that cruel. Something so unoriginal so never before seen that we won’t even know it had came…And remember that he won’t show up until like the 15th episode we waited for sylars information we’ll wait for his

I don’t know if you noticed but after hangin up with Claire, he looks at himself in the mirror and you can see that it’s not really his face. He looks back few seconds after and his normal face is back !!!
This was a bit strange but we’ll have to wait … and see :p

I have a feel it is Peter..As we can see, Peter is wearing a necklace with that ‘Godsend’ Logo..And everybody believe Peter to be the most kind-hearted person..So, doesn’t the sentences from Ando ’s ‘I never expected it would be you’ is suitable here?
Maybe he have split personality due to the explosion or something similar as we also noticed that when Nathan looked into the mirror in the bar..He actually saw an image of a scarred Peter there.. And how they put the death notice photo there? It should be Nathan.. Peter and Nathan’s do have connection..P/s: Reminder of Season 1 when Nathan’s is involved in an accident. Or maybe Nathan’s may get Peter power during the explosion & the feel of revenge.

You are all missing 1 simple fact if its nathan, west, peter or even Takezo. Then who has the power that is making Molly have nightmares as far as i know everyone has 1 power and none of them have the power to do that. So I dunno I am thinking it has to be somebody new. It was also happening way before peter disappeared so I know they peter can’t possibly have that kinda power. So wrap your theories around that.

the man who killed Kaito can either fly or heal himself. it is none other than Takezo Kensei! let me explain. this new character tim kring is talking about, named Kane (ageless european) is actually the white takezo kensei. in lizards, we know that takezo can heal himself like claire after he took some arrows to the chest. it’s not nathan or west… it’s kane who killed kaito. remember the legend of kensei that he took his heart to give to the dragon blah blah blah. he could heal himself. he could grow a new freakin heart so it was no biggie. just like jumping 20 floors is no biggie.

now some theories:

kane/kensei is ageless. and so is claire. hehehe cell regeneration. when claire is done with puberty and becomes an adult, she will stop growing old.

the boogieman molly is talking about…. well it’s molly. hehehehe remember when she snapped at parkman? that was just the tip of the iceberg. let me explain. molly developed a very powerful alter ego who can locate anyone anywhere and get into their heads. this is a result of her witnessing the murder of her family by a freak named sylar.

…i didn’t even wonder who Molly’s tormentors were - i thought it was Sylar. lol… but thinking back, that’d be silly. it probably is kane/kensei.

and what’s with that face nathan saw in the mirror?? it wasn’t him, and it wasn’t peter. and how did nathan survive the explosion? he can’t regenerate… unless peter somehow gained the ability to heal others… but he ended up in ireland… if peter ever met linderman, he could’ve assumed his power, but i don’t think that happend, did it?

Im with you entirely. Since Kensei can heal, then we should all assume that his regeration keeps him young (which may well be what happens with Claire). So here we have Kensei, a legendary warrior who goes by many names (even Kensei is an adopted name) who goes on to lead a dynasty in Japanese history, then “dies”. Except he doesnt, he returns to Europe under a new name, and becuase of his power he forms an Order of other super-powered beings under his sign, the Helix, that goes on to guide human history, with him in the background leading. As time goes by others go astray, like the Petrellis, Linderman. and Kaito, so Kensei reveals himself to take matters into his own hands, which is why Kaito was shocked to see him. I agree, this Kane may very well be Kenseis new persona. and the Order of the Helix starts with him.
Kensei and others under the Order are now after them, out to kill the ones who strayed.

a little off topic… mrs petrelli had relations with the formentioned deceased. what if hiro was there love child and is actually nathan and peter’s half brother. and i do believe theres a person who can control the physical bodies of people.

OK Notice that Peters new power is D.Ls HE went to OWI so did linderman all of them did to get fixed… Peter absorbed thousands of peoples powers during those moments in there! Peter could have absorbed Nikis and now is his father…I dont know! So confused

And now they are 8.. Nakamura, Linderman, Papa Petrilli and Simone’s dad all had powers have died. They haven’t released all the new cast members for this new season.. so it’ll be interesting to see where it all leads. Peter can only activate one ability at a time (can’t be invis and torch someone for example) so maybe another person is out there that’s similar to him? Has more then 1 ability?

I have to say, for an old-timer, I was pretty disappointed with the way Kaito died.. he didn’t even try to put up a fight :\

West gave me the creeps. When I first saw him scoping out Claire through her window, my thoughts are that he was sent by the Company to keep an eye on the Bennett’s… but…

Why did he fly away when he saw that little trick Claire perform at the end of ep2? Perhaps trying to act flipped out coz he got “caught” in spying on her?

Peter doesn’t know every power he has come in contact in. He walked by HEROES everyday! Thats why he has a lot of different powers. I agree in something Peter has been near and touched Hiro Nakamura. Wouldn’t he bend the space time continum too? Oh, and What an awkward day tomorrow at school for Claire and West! haha She’ll totally flip out on him

I don’t think the peter petrelli they are showing right now…is actually peter petrelli. first off…peter was wearing that helix necklace that peter did not recieve during season 1. I really think peter is dead. I think someone is impersonating peter and trying to infiltrate the “good” side of the heroes…using peter’s identity. I mean who had electricity shoot from their hands during season 1? I suspect a new dangerous hero…under the influence of Kane/the company perhaps.

I also think the haitian erased peter’s memory so that peter couldn’t remember his powers and could now explode. the girl from veronica mars has the power of electricity and wants to kill petewr and i guess that’s where he got that power from.

I think the killer is that guy they call Kane, who was also Takezo Kensei in the past,, but because he can regenerate, he didn’t look like that old…(E! News said he is a 400 yr old man) They also said he can control insects… so… aside from regeneration, he also has another power?? I’m so into this speculation.. hehe ;D

it’s not west because were would kaito know west from it’s plain to see that he reconized his killer even in the dark so it must have been and older hero trust me west has no reason plus if he worked for the company then he would know about claire and the rest of them !!!
