Who is the Supervillain Sylar?

The biggest question on every “Heroes” fan’s mind is: “Who is Sylar?” Not just the character, but who is the actor that plays him? According to these screen captures by forum member BaseballerX, Sylar is a white male with a mustache and beard, which you can just barely make out from the images below:

But Who is Sylar? This superpowered villain who can shrug off bullets and kill with merciless efficiency? In Episode 1.02 we heard Sylar’s voice, and in Episode 1.03 we saw him in shadows as he battled Matt Parkman, the telepathic cop, before seemingly “flying” away.

According to IMDB.com, the voice we heard in Episode 1.02 belonged to voice actor Maurice LaMarche, who doesn’t actually look like the man in the shadowy images above, so we can conclude that he is not playing Sylar the man.

So the question remains: Who plays Sylar, will we ever see his face, and is he, indeed, responsible for the nuclear blast that will rock New York City as foretold in Isaac’s visions?

Email me if you know the actor who plays Sylar, or play the guessing game with us at the forum.

  1. Es otra persona quien está en la foto

  2. Apparently they didn’t have Zachary Quinto in that time for his role..

Obviously, it’s NOT the Sylar we know now. I can tell by the nose.

  3. Yeah, this guy looks like an older man with a mustache and beard - especially in the first picture.

  4. I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to incorporate this guy into a future episode as a Sylar who may have taken Hiro’s abilities and bent them to his will. Perhaps a much older Sylar returns from the future trying to stop some attempt on his younger self.
