Videos of Masi Oka on Japanese TV

To no one’s surprise, Masi Oka was the focus of Japanese TV when the gang showed up in Tokyo earlier this week as part of their Heroes World Tour. Here are a couple of the shows Masi was on. Obviously I don’t speak Japan so I have no idea what any of them are saying but hey, it’s kind of fun seeing Masi on Japanese TV talking in Japanese anyways. Although I love the way they got people on the streets of New York to do the “Yatta!” scream.

I saw a promo that showed Sylar strapped into the gurney and then it showed Claire and you heard Sylar ...
I hadn’t really considered before that Masi Oka’s name wasn’t really Japanese (”Masi” comes out as “Mashi” when pronounced in Japanese) so it was a bit of a surprise for me when I realized it while watching these clips. Then the second clip said his real name is “Masayori Oka,” so that cleared it up. Ha ha.
ha, he’s telling the bonsai/bansai story to them! that’s awesome.
