Weird, I just posted something on this over at the Friday Night Lights thread. Guess we got a little off-topic.
I like the idea of this show, the post-apocalyptic mystery with a whole town isolated by forces beyond their ken, etc, etc. I'm not a fan of Balthazar Getty but it's an ensemble cast, I can put up with him. And maybe he'll do a better job than he did over at Alias. 'Course, he had a pretty crappy storyline on Alias so maybe he'll be better on this.

I wasn't too pleased with the latest installment of Jericho. I'll give it another week...but it really needs to start hitting some serious home runs with each episode or I'm done with this show.

This is another one where I think the focus is on the characters. The nuclear explosion kinda feels like the backdrop. I loved how near the end of the last episode the "former St. Louis cop" had a bit of mystery surrounding him. This guy isn't a policeman, so who is he? Why didn't he share radio information with anyone else? How come he was so prepared? Why doesn't even his family know what's going on? What's his favorite color? j/k Ya know, that guy kinda reminds me how Lost played the John Locke character the first season: mysterious, not entirely certain if he was a good guy, and having a sort of insight that the other characters weren't capable of having. I like the show so far, but we'll see how it goes.

Yeah... the so-called ex-cop from St. Louis... isn't a cop after all. I don't know if you seen this past episode... but things are starting to get a bit more interesting. The so-called ex-cop seems to know alot more than he's lettin' on. If you watched the last episode... he hops on his laptop... connects to the internet... and leaves a message for "other" families... one family name that sticks to mind is the ... "memphis" family... whats up with that? Did the government know about the Nuclear attacks ahead of time... but just didn't do anything about it? Or did they think it was a hoax and dismissed the warning signs? Is the so-called ex-cop a part of some elite government agency? Come on now... whats going on... inquiring minds wanna know!!
