IMDB says it'll be directed by John Favreau - he's pretty talented that could be good.

Umm... If it was out next month, it wouldn't be a good movie. The longer it takes to get a movie out, the more effort the producers/creators/directors are putting out to make it perfect. (That, or the deeper in production hell it is in). Sometimes the wait is a good thing. One learns patience and in the process makes the experience more enjoyable.
