On the NBC site if you click on the research button you will find a map with sticky notes that you can read. There is one that says research medusa, so I did.

Interesting how Nikki's character is only visible in a mirror. How she is beautiful, yet full of sorrow and strife. Also the mirror image is dangerous. Perhaps she has Medusa-like powers, but only through the mirror image of herself. That would be the opposite of Medusa, but an interesting take on the mythology if it is.

Or maybe I am grasping at straws.

Um, that would contradict Clash of the Titans when Harry Hamlin's Perseus when he used his shield as a mirror to conter-act Medusa's turn them to stone when they look at her face curse!! 8)
