Hi everyone,
Sorry I didn't get to this sooner! Just got back from an amazing few days in San Diego @ Comicon. Anyway, as Sam already told you, on Friday night, I rushed back to my hotel and did a LONG detailed recap of the screening -- AND LOST THE WHOLE THING because my login timed out!!!! argghh.
I did manage to upload my photos to Flickr, so you can all see them:

They were too big to email and frankly I couldn't figure out how to attach them to this board! Sorry they aren't so good, but I did get closer than I thought so that should count for something :-) That SURESH guy is **gorgeous** in person--actually the whole cast is pretty damn good looking! ;-)
Instead of redoing my blow-by-blow, the FUTON CRITIC did a great job of recapping what went down at the screening:

I gotta say, the 72 minute pilot WAS AWESOME!!!! I can't imagine what' they're gonna cut out in the premiere, so I guess I'll just have to wait until September. You will not be disappointed!
A couple things the Futon Critic didn't say:
One guy asked Jef Loeb how he felt about going up against Monday Night Football. The good news is that Jef responded that the is NO MORE Monday Night Football! It's actually moved to ESPN, so that's not gonna be big competition for Heroes. (NBC has got football on Sunday nights so they will be promoting Heroes in the big game!) That's great news since the lack of competition should give this show a fighting chance :-)
The screening room was PACKED. I feel really lucky that we decided to sit thru the session before Heroes so we were already in the room, instead of the line with 2000 other people. They said they turned away 600 people at the door, plus another 200 after those people left! gesh!
Also, here's some scoop from the Heroes booth:
I asked one of the girls giving out the buttons what was the deal with the 9thwonders site-- if they were going to put up video or photos, or just keep it as a comic book. She said that there are actually TWO Heroes sites out there-- the 9thwonders, plus the new one on NBC.com! The NBC.com one is the "official" site, which you can get to from the front page of 9thwonders. I checked itt out--it looks super cool, lots of flash stuff and hidden materials.
I tried to get a copy of the comic book that I saw on Wednesday night. Apparently those people I met in the lobby got them as a VIP perk on the screening night. . regular folk have to get a special ULURU limited edition pin that is only handed out at certain times. If you get that pin, you also get the comic book. I gave up on that, since it was pretty crazy over at the booth every time I walked by. I'm bummed I didn't get my HIRO button-- only got the cheerleader and the Niki button!
Anyway, the producers said during the screening that the only thing they ask of us is to TALK ABOUT THE SHOW. . online, to our friends, whoever.
I am doing my duty and spreading the word. . . and getting some much needed rest from a fun weekend. If you've never been to Comicon, I'd highly recommended it. (btw, Kid under 12 get in FREE, if that helps.)
HIRO is *my* Hero. Over n out!
