Just saw the "Eureka" pilot on the Sci Fi Channel. I have to say, it's pretty good. Very funny and cool, and I really like the lead. The plot, about a government town full of geniuses doing experiments, in a small town called Eureka is pretty creative. The only thing I don't like is the teenage daughter. I really can't stand "smartass teen" characters. Maybe it was because I was never as mouthy as them when I was a teen but I really find them teeth-grinding annoying.
Yep! I just saw it an hour ago. (The Cubs take precedence, so I had to wait 'till they re-aired it a few hours later.) It was good, although a good portion of my time was spent pointing out all the characters and their previous guest spots on TV shows (usually science fiction ones). I as well didn't much care for the teen lady, but the Deputy Jo Lupo (Played by Erica Serra) was cute. For some reason I kept thinking that she was Emmanuelle Vaugier. The Deputy looks like she could be very dangerous. A sexy woman who can beat me up is always a plus in a TV show.
I wouldn't take it very seriously though. I think it is more of a tongue in cheek kind of thing. As long as it is overlooked for its flaws, I think it will be entertaining...

His brain isn't his commanding officer - Lois Lane in Season 5 of Smallville
It's been pretty good. They lost some of the quirkiness in favor of the mysteries, but that's okay with me. Thank god they didn't bring back the quirky music. I was so relieved when it kind of faded away last season.
Did anybody watch the last epi? That tape Henry was reviewing from before his gf was killed -- was that the therapist planting something in the lab? I watched it live and haven't had a chance to review the tape yet so I might be way off base. Anyway, if it turns out it is the therapist, that means Henry won't be the Big Bad this season after all. His problem will be -- who can he trust?
