I don't think this one has been posted yet, if it has Sam feel free to delete this post.

Televisionary link HERE

Warning! It is a very negative review and contains spoilers, some of which are slightly different from others I believe. I have NO idea what type of website this is, so I can't tell if it is valid or not. It's just a blogsite. I just came across this and I decided to share.

Ouch that is not very nice nor incouraging. Hopefully he had a fight with his wife before he saw the pilot and was just cranky.

Sounds like he saw part one of a two-parter? In any case, he's one lone voice in a sea of positive reviews so whatever. There's always gotta be someone negative, right?

Hey, he had it coming. All the guy did was compare the show to "Lost", like "Lost" was the first show ever invented or something and nothing can ever be like it ever again. Whatever.

Yeah, I didn't particularly like it either. Yet, since he was SO negative, I'm starting to take it as a positive. :? First, I always get worried when I only hear good stuff. Somebody is always going to be negative, somebody is always not going to like something. You can't please everyone. Therefore, I like to know that not everyone is pleased. It's more real to me when that is the case. Also, this reviewer didn't even hide his decision to be negative beforehand. If he actually was being responsible, he would have had some positives mixed in with the negatives. That wasn't the case. The more I think about, the more hyped I am about the show due to this clown. Both sides of the story should be told, hence the reason why I posted it in the first place. However, this person doesn't abide to that ideal. Shame on him.

Guy sounds like an assclown. Kinda lame how he keeps comparing Heroes to Lost, as if Lost was the first TV show ever invented or some crap.

Okay, I know I’m walking a line on posting on this subject a bit too much, but I keep thinking about this. His post is like an annoying song I can’t get out of head, I keep wanting to hit that *&%#@ one more time. I was literally in bed last night going nuts over this. (Yeah, I know, short journey) Theultimatehero is right.

To this guy, Lost apparently is his Holy Grail of TV shows. Yet, he blasts Heroes for not revealing enough. Huh? If you’re going to compare the two, do it on an equal basis. Did Lost reveal smokie (the monster) in the first episode? Not one bit. All we saw was it ate a pilot (Greg Grunberg coincidentally) and was ripping out trees and making freaky noises. Was there any explanation about why there were Polar Bears on the tropical island in the first episode? Nope. Why was Jack (The Doc) thrown so far away from the crash without hardly a scratch? (There are more, but I’m tired)

After 2 full seasons of Lost, I would argue that there are still way more questions than answers at this point. There are a lot of Lost fans who believe that because of the popularity of the show Season 2 was stretched out so that less was revealed so the series could run longer. And this guy is ripping Heroes for not revealing anything in the tiny 55 minutes he saw? To be a fan of Lost, you have to be patient for the slow revealing of the mysteries involved. He is being extremely hypocritical.

Heroes isn’t a 2 hour movie, therefore he shouldn’t be expecting all the mysteries to be solved. “Genesis” is a pilot for a show that will hopefully last for several seasons, and the only thing that a pilot is supposed to do is to introduce the characters and add a bit of intrigue. Just like I wouldn’t want Lost to reveal smokie, tell me why there were polar bears on the island, and solve all the mysteries before it even started, I wouldn’t want Heroes to act like that either. So why does this reviewer? The real fun of Lost is trying to solve the puzzle before they do it for you. The real fun in Heroes will be speculating who/what/where/how and most importantly why.

Honestly, this dumbass knows nothing.........I am getting really tired of comparisons to everyone and everything else under the sun........okay, so Heroes is not the most original story around........*shivers*.........so, the freak what about it?..........honestly, the only 2 things this show can be even close to aquately compared to is either X-Men and/or Fantastic Four........but, a las it's nothing compared to Lost............um, 12 million people on a concrete jungle called NYC/Manhatan........is no Lost............genetic evolution........is no people abducted over a 60 year period that show up all at once, not have aged a day, not remembering anything about the time in which they had been "missing" and have powers.........to help SAVE humanity in the future.........which is The 4400.

This guy is not the brightest bulb in the box.

On that note, I love how the woman are equally powerful as some of the man, if NOT more powerful than most of the man!!

That would be totally cool, reversing the whole female-male dynamic of the group. I think it's also kinda cool that all the guys' powers seem to be really "girly" (no offense, gals!) like flying (or floating?), transporting, and seeing the future, whlie the girls are invulnerable and the other one can kill you with her mirror doppelganger! That's just too radical.
