Default Technical board problems

Here's a thread for all those little problems that crop up.

Currently I'm having a problem with the checkmarks that show whether or not a topic is read. There are several topics that for me are permanently marked unread. This includes the "what about a social thread" topic here in Suggestions/Complaints and several other topics in Movies and TV Land. They stay checked unread even when I click on the "mark all topics read" thingie.

:?

It's not a big issue, just a little problem...

Edit to Add: The problem is only on the subforum page; the boxes on the main page change colors appropriately.

Interesting, didn't notice. Is anyone else having this problem? It could just be a cookie issue. What browser are you running cabri?

I think I'm having the reverse issue. When I first go to the form site. It lets me see all of the posts unread. Except after the first post, all the other posts yet unread are marked read. This is only my second forum, so I might be doing something messy. I use Compuserve as my browser.

Try Firefox instead. I've been using them for 2 years, and they are faster, sleeker, smaller, more secure, and basically 100 times better than IE. They're also free. In fact, they're so much better than IE, that the latest version of IE that's about to come out is a clone of Firefox!

As far as I can tell, Firefox solved all the problems I was having. Thanks again for the link, Mr. Benevolent Overlord. 8)
