I've been seeing more and more previews for "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" and wow, does it look awful or what? The CGI is all over the place, and the whole concept is just half-retarded. I'm gonna be avoiding this one like the plague.
Any other movies you guys have seen previews for and thought, "Oh man this does NOT look good!"
I am mixed about M. Night Shyamalan's new movie. It looked good at first, but as the previews continue to roll in, it's becoming obvious he is setting up yet another twist ending. What is it this time, that it's all "a story" being told to some kid ala "The Princess Bride"?

I agree. The movie does look stupid, but I really like it when Luke Wilson says, "I hear ya, homegirl," and then Wanda Sykes says, "What did you call me?" For some reason I always crack up when I hear him say that line.
Wanda Sykes is so hilarious but that's probably the funny scene in the whole movie. The rest of the jokes with wilson's buddy are so lame. and is it me or did they give uma thurman's character like every superpower in the book?

I am hoping that the ex-gf movie is supposed to be stupidly funny. As far as the new M. Knight movie, I agree the more previews that I see the less I am intrigued. Seems a little hokey at this point.
M. Night is falling into the trap of HAVING to have twist endings. the problem is that you can usualy see them coming from a mile away now that you are constantly thinking about what he's going to pull throughout the movie.

You nailed it on the head! Good catch. The tenants begin to realize that they are characters in the story as well. It is reported in the story plot on Dark Horizons. However, it probably isn't the twist at the ending, if of course there is a twist. Since he has always had a twist, though, there isn't any reason to suspect otherwise.
