The Natural Order of Things
If this show is going to follow the natural order of things then they must follow the law that says for each action there is an equal an opposite reaction. So that would mean that half of the cast must turn bad or that there are anti-heroes out in the world that we don't know about yet. Would that be season two?
If by "follow the law" you mean adhere to the basic laws of physics, then yes, I certainly hope they do. But the laws of physics don't describe human behavior. There will be villains simply because there are villains in the world.

There is a villian already in place in the pilot but since it's a spoiler........I won't say anymore!! 8)

geez i really hope they don't go the "evil guv'ment conspiracy" angle. i am soooooo sick of evil guv'ment conspiracy storylines on TV. I hope Kring and company comes up with something more ORIGINAL.

interesting to think that the enemy may be the person inside of yourself that you don't want to confront and that extraordinary power could unleash the devil within.
I think instead of looking at physics you should probably look at psychology...I'm wondering if the super powers simply mess up some of their heads??
Mess up their heads how? By making them have sensory delusions? That might happen with Isacc's power but it's unlikely. If they have delusions of grandeur, then that might be a problem. However, you'd have to look at it in context before anyone qualified, IMHO, could say that it was the powers that created that. A little bit of confidence with these special powers might help them save the world.
