Default Various Superman Specials on TV

Science of Superman link here, shown at the NGC (National Geographic Channel). The most recent showing are Sat, July 1st @ 9 PM; Sun, July 2nd @ 12 AM - Midnight 'tween Sat & Sun; Sun, July 2nd @ 6 PM; Thursday, July 6th @ 4 PM. For other times, click on the link above. Below is a premise of the show.

Quote:
Premise: A report exploring the plausibility of the Man of Steel's superpowers, keyed to the release of the 2006 film "Superman Returns." The hour, which also speculates on how an unstable planet like Krypton could explode, includes interviews with "Returns" star Brandon Routh and director Bryan Singer, and "Smallville" creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, as well as physicist Michael Dennin, biologist Frank Frisch, NASA engineer Todd Barber and author Mark Wolverton ("The Science of Superman").
Look, Up in the Sky! The Amazing Story of Superman link here, shown on the A&E network. The next showings for this program are Sun, July 2nd at 11 AM; Tuesday, July 4th @ 10 PM; Wed, July 5th @ 2 AM & @ 9 AM & @ 3 PM. Below is a premise of the show.

Quote:
Premise: A history of the fictional superhero who first appeared in comics in 1938 examines his portrayal in television and films, including the 1950s TV series starring George Reeves; the Christopher Reeve films; and the TV series "Smallville" and "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman."
The A&E Channel is also showing Breakfast with the Arts: Superman Returns/Martina McBride on Sunday, July 2nd @ 80 AM.

ALL Times Eastern!!! This means that if you live in the Midwest, like me, you will have to adjust the times accordingly. If you live outside the USA, you're on your own. Sorry! I believe Eastern Time is GMT - 4 hrs, but which countries get what channels I have no idea.

As a side note, I saw a good portion of Look, Up in the Sky! I was thoroughly entertained by the history of the character of Superman, and all of the various mediums in which they covered in the program. They mainly centered on all of the various TV shows and movies. They even covered/mentioned the 2 separate Superboy TV series, Superdog, and the Superman musical. They did discuss the comic books through time, but not to the extent. I would recommend viewing this program if you are interested in knowing more.

Also, has anyone seen Science of Superman? I would like to hear if it is worth watching.

PS - the quotes are from the TV guide links I have posted.

I actually stumbled onto "Look, Up in the Sky!" last night by accident. It was interesting. You can also find it on DVD, either right now or coming out soon, I am not sure which. The DVD version is 30 min longer. Maybe they discuss the comics more in that version, or in the 20 minutes at the beginning that I missed.
