Default John Doe

Saw an episode of John Doe today on the sci fi channel and it was pretty good. I don't know why it didn't work. The show was kinda cool. Any fans of the show here?

The show didn't work for me because for an all-knowing genius, he sure makes a lot of dumb mistakes. Touching evidence at a crime scene without gloves for one (and the cops with him don't object). Another is buying a car without a roof (not just a convertible, no roof at all) in Seattle, and driving it around all the time without ever covering it up.

The writers depended too much on their concept to carry them.

The pilot was really good. Or at least the first half. I don't much care for the rest of the series. After a while John Doe just didn't seem to know as much as he should.

Haha yeah, after a while they had to come up with dumb ways to make him less "super". Sorta like how they added kryptonite to Superman. The comics made him too super.

I liked it up through about halfway but lost interest cuz it never seemed to go anywhere. My sister liked it a lot but I think she just liked the lead actor. :P

John Doe's first few episodes were fine as what others have said. But it seems like they don't have more stories in their mind that led to some disgusting episodes later...
