Any movie you guys are looking forward to? The only one I'm dying to see is Superman Returns. I'm also interested in Pirates 2, but beyond that, I can't really recall any other movies that I'm psyche for past the Summer...
i kinda want to see The Grudge 2. usually i don't like sequels to horror movies but for some reason i'm interested in this particular one.
I've actually seen all the Japanese ones, and if it's any like them, the sequel will barely be a sequel, and will probably be more like a continuation of a wider anthology of sorts. The Japanese versions were basically one big "Tales from the Darkside" sorta movie, with different people encountering the ghosts at the house and whatnot.

i just hope that the American version of the movie will be more of a real sequel than the Japanese version because i've never been interested in movies that use totally new characters from the original. at least in The Grudge 2 they're still using Sarah Michelle Gellar and the cop guy (i think his name is Nakagawa or something).
I'm really looking forward to The Fountain, written and directed by Darron Aronofsky, who also wrote and directed one of my top five movies ever (and I'm old so that's a lot of movies), Dark City. He also made The Crow, a movie which stayed with me for weeks, and Requiem for a Dream, an amazing and extremely disturbing movie. Downloaded the trailer for The Fountain on my 360 and it seems to be about love that never ends and the quest to find everlasting life, yet to share that life with your soulmate. Set in a fantasy world, it speaks to the romantic and the dreamer in me.

I enjoyed Dark City. Lots of Philip K Dick influence in that one.
Speaking of Philip K Dick, I was a little upset that I missed A Scanner Darkly, not only for the movie but for the "animation over real-life" look of the movie. I must get this on DVD soon.
Other than that, I haven't kept track of what movies are slated for release later this year. Perhaps I should see what will be in the near future.

I really want to see this new movie "The Science of Sleep". It is done by Michel Gondry, the same person that did "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".
Oh I loved Eternal Sunshine. One of the greatest love stories I think ever told in a movie. And not just romanticized love but love between flawed people and love that can hurt as wall as bring happiness. I'll check out the link, thanks!!
