Peter's Ability in Season 4

I was watching some of the promo material for Season 4 and was wondering what exactly is Peter's ability?

In this video he seems to pick up the new ability while still using his previous ability. Is this a hint that he may have access to a touch-based version of his original ability, or am I grasping at straws?

I have no idea what Kring and co. are doing with Peter's ability anymore. It's just a wait and see for me at this point. But yeah you're right about Edgar's ability though. It's been confirmed as superspeed in interviews and I don't think it's too spoilery of a tidbit that you need to hide it.

If they gave him back empathy, that would be a bit stupid.

Agreed. I've seen plenty of complaints about Peter being a useless bum now. Honestly the character is much more interesting now that he isn't dominating the show.

Peter needs his empathy because the obvious ending of heroes is a clash of epic proportions between sylar and peter with peter saving the world. Cliche i no but its going to happan. Also sylar is the best character on the show possibly the best villain on any show ever made hes going to come back and peter needs to have access to all abilities to stop sylar. He healed his memories in season 2 because he had them removed by the haiten but claires regeneration abilities allowed him to heal the scarrs left by the removal so he remembered. What if his ability is like that? Arthur stole it what if he has some kind of scarring that has to healed? the only other theory i have is that he takes claires abilty and sylar could possibly "fix" him

Or all the heroes band together to stop Sylar. That's the end that I think Kring and co. are going for, not the clash of titans between Peter and Sylar.

Is this Season 1 or Season 4?

1) Peter's ability is up in the air as to whether or not he has it and what it might be
2) Supposed everyone will have to band together to stop Sylar

I disappear for a few months--or has it been nearly a year?--because I was disheartened by the direction the show was taking--which was "nowhere"--and when I come back I find that nothing has changed.
