With the strength of the sun in his body, light courses through his veins. This man is able to generate waves, beams, orbs, and shields of light. He is able to generate them through a brand of absorption. The heated strength of photons can be measured to about 1,000° Fahrenheit, though, he does not go to that level unless under extreme pressure. With a study of photons, and reading comic books on those with light manipulation abilities, he is able to create a shield that can deflect most, if not all, energy-based attacks. With vary degrees of success, he has managed to repel photons away from his person, or reflect them, forming an invisible cloak around him, though, these do not last as long as he hopes.

- Limits:
The ability of photon/light manipulation does have it's quirks, but all great abilities come with downfalls. As stated, he absorbs light to keep him strengthened, but passively, and sometimes actively. If trapped in a darkened cavern for too long, he becomes unable to utilize his abilities to their full potential, and perhaps even unable to use them at all. Also stated, he has varying degrees of success with creating darkness and invisiblity. His "forcefield" also can be stopped by an equal, if not greater energy-based attack, or a physical object (such as a superhuman punch with superhuman durability, or a missile - bullets have little effect, if hardly any). Perhaps the greatest limit is his mobility. With his studies, and constant trying, he shows little progress in the advancement of light-manipulated flight. It is currently unknown if he will ever succeed in gaining this.

- Personality: In the past, Daniel/Alexander had a caring, loving attitude. Over his adventures with Jonathan, Xander, and others, he's developed a more darkened personality. Through a procedure that is only known to him and the advisors of Ascorp, his abilities expanded, causing him to realize he may have unlimited potential. With that "knowledge," his mind became more sadistic, showing his powers off to whoever and where ever he wanted. If something comes across to him as an "enemy," Alex does have a reasonable sense to cut off his "insanity," and give him the strength to see the truth, that he is no villain, just a confused hero.

- Family: Adam Serrano (alive - father), Isabella Serrano (deceased - mother) Jonathan Harvey ("claimed" brother)

- Short-Bio: With the wealth of his father, and the death of his mother, Daniel gained had unlocked his genetic coding. Through years of practice, he went on to become one of the strongest light manipulators in history. His bestfriend, and claimed brother, Jonathan, also discovered his abilities, and both pushed each other to gain more control over them.

When travelling through Pittsburgh one night, Daniel was captured, and underwent tests on his abilities. Though he was at 35% mastery of his abilities, and injection caused him to be strengthened, and overloaded him with knowledge, giving him roughly 65% mastery when he awoke in Argentina. After a great deal there, with slaughtering civilians, hijacking a car, and nearly causing total engine failure on a plane, he made it back to the States, and into San Francisco.

"The ability to use a superhuman ability, and then if a subject touches the subject on which the ability was used, the subject will temporarily gain that same ability or a similar ability. Or this ability can be used to give normal humans superpowers temporarily by touch, so that they are not entirely helpless. This ability may be able to remove abilities entirely from oneself, passing them onto the desired subject either temporarily (and take them back) or permanently."

- Limits:
Due to the crude awakening of his ability, Reese shows little signs of control over the ability. Upon touching (skin to skin) with a man who had used telepathy against him, to bargain for his groceries, Reese immediately picked up his telepathic skills. This resulted in his hearing of multiple thoughts, causing him to literally lose his mind. Doctors are currently convinced that it's schizophrenia with bipolar disease, but the drugs show little sign of improvement on his health. In regards to the description of the ability, he can transfer abilities, but doesn't consciously know how, nor can he rid himself of them instantly (all transfered abilities are temporary!), but can in the future. Like ability replication (Peter Petrelli version), Reese cannot hold onto more than one power at a time.

In the aspects of the forum, telepathy is just a starter for the character. It's simple mind-to-mind communication. Once Reese gets within the storylines more, telepathy will be dropped (in a matter of posts), but will leave him scarred from the disturbance. Each time that a person uses an ability, and Reese touches it, he'll temporarily gain the ability for a few posts. As the stories progress with him in it, he'll gain more control over the ability, and can actively pick up abilities, but can't hold them as long as Peter Petrelli, for example (Reese has them for a few posts, compared to permanently).

In terms of strength with the abilities he acquires, it'll vary on who he takes from. If he took on someone who knows their ability inside and out, that's his strength with it, minus the control. He can't touch someone and gain their abilities, only what the person uses their ability on (if someone uses telepathy against him, he'll gain it briefly - if someone uses pyrokinesis, and Reese touches the now-cooked meat, he will gain pyrokinesis briefly). It will be strictly involuntary for the moment, since he just discovered his abilities. Until he gains control over them (which won't be for a while), he'll become shaken up by the fact that something is mutating his body.

- Total Power Mastery: 14%

- Personality: The nature of his discovering of his ability lead him to become clinically schizophrenic and bipolar. It's simply the nature of his first ability discovered - telepathy. After briefly touching the man who possessed it, Reese's mind began to hear all of the thoughts of the store, becoming overloaded with feelings and thoughts. The "idea" of bipolarity and schizophrenia will stick with him, but the actual medical disabilities themselves will not be present in scans. With each ability acquire, his personality will shift, for better or worse, depending on the ability picked up. A complex, and intricate character for the storylines to progress.

- Short Background: Reese Halifax, once a student and cashier of walmart, became severely ill one night. He began to hear voices in his head, as well as had rapid mood swings against his parents and friends. The Halifax family became increasingly worried, deciding that Reese needed hospitalized, and put under better care. The doctors had diagnosed him wth schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Placed on medication, Reese began to show improvement, but his mind was altered in different ways.

In his recollection, the first time this started was when a man handed him change, and accidently, the two touched hands. Something snapped inside his head, as if he could hear everyone speaking at once. His boss had seen him shaken up from the act, and sent him on a two hour break. The medications, again assumed by Reese, aided the effect of this disease, causing him to slowly lose focus of who he was.
