Born and raised in a small town in the Midwest. Grew up with few outstanding events in his life, mostly ignored by his peers. Minor accomplishments include high school graduation, community college degree in culinary arts, minor recognitions in workplace for attendance and general hard work.

Power Sensing, also called Power/Ability Detection or Power/Ability Sense : the superhuman ability to instinctively tell if another has a special power and be able to locate others with powers. In some cases, one can even discern what abilities a person has and/or to what degree they have their ability (called Power Gauging), specifically which powers a superhuman may possess or when a subject is using their power. This usually entails telepathic detection of abilities, but sometimes it involves the detection of a superhuman aura or simply an intuitive superhuman faculty in which the user just knows.

Ability Discovery: On vacation in New York a few years ago Owen was overwhlemed by the sensation of information causing him to have a migraine. On the flight leaving New York back to the midwest he became aware of what his ability was. He noticed he could tell there were two people on the plane with him that had "powers" and he just knew which people they were, where they were at in relation to him, and what their abillities were (telekinesis and metal mimicry). Since then he has been learning to use the ability, travelling occasionally to large population areas learning to focus so aviod informaiton overlaod and more migraines. Has not used the ability for any purpose other than his own whim.

Personal History (Extended):
Jack has had a relatively normal life. Both his parents are happily married. He is the oldest of 4 children. A brother and sister in college and one at home anxiously waiting to graduate high school. Generally he has high morals, doesn't drink or use any sort of drug and doesn't swear. All around "nice guy". He is introverted in large groups of people and he tends to not hit up local clubs and bars. He tended to geek it up by playing online MMORPGs and reading books like the Harry Potter series. He is looked into switching careers at which point he was recruited by the Agency. Has a technical degree and works third shift at a printing press. He thinks about teaching Spanish to high school kids. His secrets including a romantic weakness for "punk rock chicks," Oreo cookies and superhero stories (in all forms, comic book, movies, literature).

Switching Teleportation.
Definition: He can teleport things that he has touched, switching the location of the items. He can only "switch" items of similar or equal value or characteristics. For example, he can switch a dog with a cat, but can not switch a flower for a gun. Teleportation range has been tested to a total of 50 miles.*See Additional Information Must have had touched the things in question. Animals and people tend to get queasy and vomit after switching with some obvious disorientation.

Ability History:Jackson comes from a line of persons with abilities. Personal family history tells a story of Orin Ogdyn who ran a tavern in the 1800's. Orin apparently filled his barrels full of water from a local water source and "blessed" it, changing the liquid into a fine ale. Locals nearly burned Orin and his family alive when a drunkard witnessed the ability. From that point on the Ogdyn family (now Ogden after moving to America from Scotland) decided that it be best to not use abilities for personal gain.
Jack used his ability to become an amateur magician, mostly doing card tricks, as a part-time job in high school and college. He occasionally did it for friend's parties and the children at the hospital he volunteers at. He tends to keep his home in meticulous order and buys certain things in stock that he switches, for example ink pens.

02/09-After a botched incident in Boone County, North Carolina, Jack left the Agency on the spot switching out of the location with an elderly man.

05/09-He's been spotted occasionally in high traffic areas of people, for example malls and public transportation hubs. Also he has been "window" shopping often trying to get his hands on as many items as possible from a large variety of stores.

Ability Updates:

5/09-Ranged as increased exponentially over the last few months. Tripling every month. Current estimates are approximately 12150 miles.
Over the last few months he has learned to adapt and switch without as much focus on a particular item but more on the general aspects of the item. Given his recent activities, it is estimated that he has come in contact with hundreds of people and thousands of different items.
