Spok and BB decided Harry Potter is better Than Twilight and heres why.
BTW we arent trying to upset Twilight fans, its all fun, and feel free to say why you think Twilights better.

EXAMPLE NUMBER 1:

Twilight=Edward Cullen.
Edward Cullen=Robert Pattinson.
Robert Pattinson=Cedric Diggory.
Cedric Diggory < Lord Voldemort.
Lord Voldemort < Harry Potter.
Therefore, Twilight < Harry Potter.

EXAMPLE NUMBER 2:

Harry Potter is loved by people of all ages.
Twilight is loved by mostly girls ages 10-20. Its like The Jonas Brothers only in movie/book form.

EXAMPLE NUMBER 3:
Harry Potter doesnt sparkle!!!
Real men don't sparkle D:

Bella is a Mary Sue and an insult to womenkind.
Edward Cullen is supposedly the perfect guy... he would frankly piss me off more than anything. Would you really want someone who wouldn't let you leave your house? How about a guy who sneaks into your house and watches you at night?
In Harry Potter the characters are realistic... and that's what really creates them... whereas Edward is just a combination of everything your average teenage girl would want. Bella is just a damsel in distress.
In both sets of books, the authors have taken something pre-existing and ran with it... however Stephanie Meyer seemed to just make vampires gay. Sparkling? WHAT? And honestly... vampires don't love... and really... vegetarian vampires? J.K Rowling took witches and wizards and mythical creatures and made them her own! They are nothing like how they were originally... they're a whole new creation now. And that shows that she's a better author.
Stephanie Meyer seems to have just created this for the sole purpose of making teenage girls squeal.

I don't like either but even I would choose Harry Potter over anything Twilight.

Snape
Dumbledore
Ron and Hermione
Cedric Diggory (wait, he's in Twilight. Scratch that)

Also, the Harry Potter book are some of the only books I've actually read, and enjoyed. Also, BB is right about Twilight being like by girls 10-20, although, my 35 year old sister likes it. But the point still stands. Besides, I don't know any boys who like Twilight, and nearly everyone I know likes Harry Potter, even my 4 year old nephew. He's like HP since he was 2!
Other reasons, Twilight is just about vampires and those two main characters, right? HP is so much more than that- the magic, Voldemort, and the love stories aren't confined to just the two leads, Harry and Cho, Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermione etc.

BTW, I haven't seen Twilight, so if I have my facts wrong on that, let me know.

Yes Ikin, I did join that. There was a point when I read the books and became oddly addicted to finishing them... but then when all the hype got started over the movies and such... I began to think about how I didn't really enjoy them that much... then after seeing the movie it sealed the deal.

Yeah, I liked the movie okay and I will probably see the second when it releases to DVD or cable, but its not topping my lists. I'm excited for the Harry Potter movies and will see them on release.
