Jake Karambit grew up and began his own life of crime in New York City at age 21. Ten years later he would join the Heroes Headquarters. He opened a club with two family friends, and was killed by James Gwai Long. Later an older version was brought back by a dimension jumping man for unknown reasons. He was later killed again by Ian Jackson and brought back to life shortly afterward. Finally he prevented a nuclear war somehow and was stuck with a malfunctioning teleportation ability. To this day he is stuck jumping around in time and space.

Gabriel Balisong originally lived in Las Vegas, NV and at one time attacked Riley Walker and Jack Raiden in their hotel room. He had a fit on conscious and gave Riley back her life and took off, only to be ambushed by his grandson Jake Karambit and sent back in time to ancient Greece. From there he survived through the ages and eventually met a woman with whom he had a daughter named Kendra Balisong.

Kendra married Logan Karambit, now a renown thief, and joined him in a life of crime. Eventually the two stumbled upon a scheme of Jason Nox's that was destabilizing the stock market. After they thwarted his plan he retaliated and burned their house down, killing Kendra and leaving Logan alone with his two sons, Jake and Jason Karambit.

Jason Karambit would end up being adopted and joined the military when he was about 25. After almost finishing AIT a latent time/space manipulation ability sent him catapulting into the future. After returning he took up the family business of crime, specifically as an assassin, due to faulty brainwashing. He then cured himself of that by mind-swapping into a regenerative character and dying, he again mind-swapped into Jacinda Sanders. Through various mechanizations he mind swapped into the comatose body of Bernard Shaw, and wound up in a burning house. Because he was never seen again he is presumed dead.
