After watching that, I must conclude it's a Petrelli death, a Nathan Petrelli death.
My reasons: Sylar saying "Claire's going to be soo mad at me". Nathan is Claire's dad - she would be mad. And also, I get the feeling Angela is closer to Nathan than Peter, and I don't think she would react like that to Peter dying.

Although, I think Mr Muggles and Turtle Parkman have fair more major roles than just animals

One of the writers confirmed that Mr. Muggles can rearrange matter on the subatomic level.

And Turtle Parkman can give people new abilities, think about it, how else did Matt get the ability to paint the future?
