Heroes Season 1
I have a question: On episode 17 or 18 I forgot, Why did Mr. Benett decides to let the Haitian shoot him by a gun and bringing Claire? But he didnt die and the Haitian removes his memory. Why?

Because Bennet wanted to stay on the company, and cover Claire, The Haitian erased his memory because Bennet made a plan to let Claire go, and didnt want the company to find out about it. SO, The Haitian shoot him to make things believable.
