Sylar is still alive?

The topic title might not make sense at first, but here's what I just remembered:
In the episode "Dual," the 'season finale' of "Villains," Sylar was stabbed in the back of the head. That normally 'kills' them, right? Why does he still live, then?

Did someone take it out? Was Rebel involved? What about Angela Petrelli?

Im guessing when the building colasped, that it got knocked out of his head easily. Then he could have just healed and used his powers to get out.

It's a mystery for us - but just now. We will propably see the flashback of that scene in the upcoming episodes.

Probably someone (like Rebel) that saw what was coming and revived Sylar so he could destabilize and split Building 26's focus.

Yeah, he wasn't shot in the back of the head... just stabbed... so someone took the pipe out of his head. You know Sylar can't die he's the best character on the show! LOL.

I am wondering if Meredith survived too. Anyone else think she might have?

i didn't like Meredith in the beginning, but her reappearance on the show made her grow on me.

I do hope that she somehow survived.

As for Sylar...they'll NEVER kill him off. He's too good of a character to let go.
