Is there any where i can watch the show the night it airs online, i have netflix but it doesnt show the night it airs, and it doesnt show up on the website the same night either.
Uh, well, all of the ways I know are illegal, so maybe just trying to google some keywords might help. I think there's a site called Tv.com or WatchTvshows.com, and I don't know how they operate or if they're under that URL but as I pointed out, google works wonders!
I posted a link to the one I use
It's in the you know which episode discussion
NBC is just a racist bitch, no wait, sorry, not NBC, the company that contracted them.
Because the company doesn't permit sites(like NBC) to broadcast online series outside of the USA.
Because then people in other countries would watch online, making the view rate of heroes on tv lower once they sell it to that foreign country (which would be a year later or so)
Though, try as they might, the results remain the same, because people will watch it online anyway, just 2 days later on an illegal site.
However, if they really succeed, for example, if google takes over the whole internet then companies would have the upper hand at control over everything right?
Then everything online would have to be bought or something so that the company makes profit.
So, if they succeed, then we foreign people would have to wait for years or maybe eternity (not every country broadcasts heroes) to see heroes, while in the USA people can see it as soon as it comes out.
This limiting foreign countries and isolating everything for USA people only is a form of racism based on profit.
IF they succeed everyone that wants to see heroes would have to move to America.
People seem to have a very hard time grasping the concept of not only business, but staying in business. It's not just the American networks that do it with their TV shows, every other nation does it as well. It's called getting your money's worth, and finding a reason to keep producing more episodes. If everyone watched the shows for free online (aka download them) there would be no commercials, thus no way for the makers of your favorite show to make money, thus how are they going to hire the writers and actors and grip guys to make your shows? Get it? It's about commerce, but it's also about eating. And so, U.S. showmakers try as much as they can to limit the exposure of the show to foreign countries until they're able to actually sell the show overseas; the BBC does it with their shows, as do every other TV show-producing country. It's not about "racism" or NBC being anti-foreigner. This is how business is done, and how you get new episodes of your favorite shows every week.
I'm always amazed by how many people who doesn't seem to grasp the reasons for commercials. I know people say that "everyone watches it online", which is untrue. A very small percentage of people even knows how to download TV shows online, much less where to find them, ala the original poster. The vast majority of people just waits for the shows to air in their countries -- thus, the makers of the show make money, thus they can keep producing shows. If these "without borders" people had their way, there would be no incentive for anyone to go through the trouble of coming up with new shows, then new episodes for said shows.
the basic point is this: TV shows like Heroes COST MONEY TO PRODUCE. I'm not sure you people even realize how much it costs just to DEVELOP a TV show, much less keep it on for three years, and constantly produce new episodes. Trust me, it costs A LOT. That's why when ratings fall, people get fired. Because it costs a lot.
So please, no NBC or capitalist bashing. If no one wanted to make a profit, Heroes (or any of your favorite shows for that matter) would not exist.
Hey dude, I perfectly understand this and explained it in the post before.
I called them racist bitches, not because of the business, but because they're limiting other countries.
You see, they don't HAVE to.
Not because people watch it online, but because they don't broadcast it in every country at the same time.
Why would people in other countries have to wait for their favorite show to air there, while in America it airs a year earlier!?
Hell, they would even be making more profit if it airs at the same date in each country, because the majority of the people wouldn't bother to watch it online anymore, because online is always a day later.

Well actually, it is a matter of business. Say, you're in Country A, and Country B wants to sell you a brand new show. But you don't want to spend all that money to buy a brand new show that is unproven, so you don't. Why? Because buying a whole season's worth of a TV show is expensive. So you wait a year, to see how the show does in its own country. If the show is a hit, you go, "Crap, i gotta get me that show! If it's a hit over there, it's going to be a hit over here, too!" So you finally pony up the money to buy it, because a year later, the show is now a PROVEN commodity. It's really not a matter of NBC or any other network not WANTING to sell the show overseas, it's a matter of overseas buyers unwilling to take a chance on shows that have no record. This is why, for the most part, only hit shows from other countries end up in your country. Older shows may show up much later, but the price for them will have been reduced significantly, so you may get a canceled show 2-3-4 years down the road.
Yes, you're right, most people can watch the show online the day after they air in their original country, but once again, keep in mind that the VAST MAJORITY of viewers don't have the skills to actually find and download the shows. As a sample, poll your nearest next door neighbors, and see how many of them even know they can download TV shows from America on their computer. I bet you the vast majority of them will have no clue how to even get started.
I know, but heroes has had 3 seasons of proof already xD
Other countries should really buy it.
In my country old people don't use computers, and people my age only use it for msn, the rest of the time they spend watching tv or hanging out with friends, going to parties, drinking and getting waisted.
I'm a rare case of 'locked up in room watching japanese and american tv online and playing games'
