Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States
8 years of Bush finally come to an end and America welcomes President Obama! He has signed a deal today to close Guantanamo Bay. Finally, a sensible president! Your views on Obama.
So then I was like "Avada Kedavra!" and he was like *dead*

He'll either one of the best presidents in our history or huge disappointment. I don't like his economic stimulus (That I have to pay off), but overall I'm pretty optimistic.
Re: Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States
I never had a problem with Guantanamo Bay or Waterboarding. I don't understand why he's still trying to bail out these big companies when the first bailouts didn't work. He lifted the ban on federal funds for international groups that perform abortions, which means the money we need is now going to internation abortion groups.
On the plus side, he's paying attention to the economy and lowering the pay of the White House administration. I don't know by how much, but I like that fact. Also, he's adopting a dog.
Therefore, I'm pretty neutral about him right now. Though I have to admit, I felt so proud and excited watching the inaguration. Dispite everything from the running, and everything I don't like about him, we have a black man as president. After the hell and abuse African American's went through in this country, we've elected one into the White House. It shows how far this nation has come in such a short time. 60 years ago, Barack Obama would've been an outcast in society.
There's a KKK Nazi living not far from me (He's a scary dude), and he's not too happy about Obama. It makes me laugh.

I am a firm believer in capital punishment, and thats one of the reasons why i am a republican, but I also believe in due process of law and the right to a fair trail, so I think that the imprisonments at Guantanamo are unconstitutional.
