Do you think people out there have super powers? I'm not talking about being able to freeze things on touch, or pull vault doors open with your mind but almost like, the beginning steps of it. Resistance to the cold weather, little pulls on stuff with your mind making it move.
Or do you think this stays in science fiction because it'll never happen?
I'm not saying it's impossible for people to have some sort of special "ability" in the future, but right now? No. We would've heard of it by now.
I mean, there are people out there who are genetically predisposed to be able to do some things better than others, but those aren't really "powers," per se.
They say God created man in His own image, so that's kind of an indication. Evolution probably will eventually lead to powers, possibly it's already happening! For example, (and please don't call me an idiot) one night, I closed my eyes and saw an image of my aunt. Within 24 hours, she was dead. (although in all fairness, saw was very very ill) And the a couple of days ago, while watching Deal or No Deal, I predicted three boxes in a row! I'm not saying I can predict the future, I'm just saying that maybe it's weird coincedences like that that are the start of our next evolutionary stage.

Re: Real life powers.
There have been stories of people having various mental abilities (telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, etc) all throughout recorded history; whether or not any truth exists in these stories is something that cannot be determined.
Clinical studies that have been performed by psychologists and parapsychologists for decades have not yet produced even one test subject who has evidenced an ability of any sort, though. Every so-called "mentalist" or "psychic" has either been debunked or laughed off as not credible for lack of clear evidence.
The closest people have ever gotten to "superhuman" abilities exist in the martial arts world; stories exist of masters being able to walk on water, climb walls like lizards, etc. Those stories are over-exaggerations, obviously.
That being said, there is video evidence of some masters being able to resist being moved, even when pushed by a handful of people. Aikido masters can throw grown men seemingly without effort; at a glance, you might think they have slightly superhuman strength (but this is not the case). Everyone has seen breaking demonstrations, of course, which also seem to display superhuman strength and/or endurance.
Illusionists, also, seem to have certain "superhuman" abilities--impossibly quick reflexes, the ability to teleport themselves, make things disappear, etc. Of course, these are merely visual distractions--nothing superhuman is going on, with the possible exception of extraordinary cleverness in creating a believable illusion.
Shayamalan touches on this topic in his movie Unbreakable; if you haven't seen it then you should.

I believe there are things out there that are.. out of the norm. Like, for instance, I seem to have dreams that will come true. I had a dream me, Spok, and a friend of ours were running through a field. At the end of the field there was a forest, and in the forest was an old, abandoned home. When we went to our friends house we were exploring the woods and we came on a field, which looked exactly like the one in my dream. The woods looked exactly the same too. We went through them and found an old abandoned home.. it was strange.. I know there were other incidents like this, but I can't remember right now (it's too late). =/ My mom said the same thing happened to her around my age, but it became less frequent and finally stopped.
So then I was like "Avada Kedavra!" and he was like *dead*

Riot and I seem to have telepathy or something because we share thoughts sometimes no matter where we are. It's really weird.

Re: Real life powers.
Such precognitive dreams are common...even I have had some from time to time. One strange thought I had about them is that somehow we send images backwards to ourselves, or maybe our brains are firing exactly the same sequences of neural paths at two different points in time, creating a type of time loop. I have insufficient evidence to test this hypothesis, however.
On a similar note, I did see this news story yesterday:
KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(AP) Investigators are baffled as to how a man suffered second- and third-degree burns inside his apartment _ even though the only sign of a fire was a candle in the bathroom. Knoxville Fire Department crews found the 56-year-old victim inside his apartment bathroom Monday afternoon with third-degree burns to his face and second-degree burns to his hands.
Officials say they knocked on the door of the unit at Cagle Terrace Apartments, and went inside when they heard someone moaning.
The man, who was not identified, was later taken to a burn center for treatment.
Fire officials say their investigation is ongoing.
