Heroes season 3 episode 3
In this interview http://www.comicbookresources.com/?p...ticle&id=18281, the writers told that after Sylar got the shanti virus, he lost all his powers except his original ability and telekinesis. But isnt it that the Future Sylar exploded using the nuclear man's power? Now im really confused!

This is why the writers of the show really need to quit jumping around the time stream--they are violating their own continuity. That is what happens when you write a show based on either "wouldn't this be cool?" or "what do the fans want?" rather than "what makes sense and is self-consistent?".

Since it is the future, there could be people with powers as the ones that Ted and Isaac had. The powers aren't just restricted to what they've shown so far in the Heroes Universe. It's quite possible Sylar took the nuclear ability from someone else that had it in the future, also the Precognitive painting. Never rule out the impossible.
