What if?

I wanted to start a threa that all of us can have our what if theories.. I allways wanted to do this.. It may be lame but... What if Sylar met Matt.. What if the company went public.. What if the abilities were discovered by some random normal human or worse.. The President of some country.. What if a terrorist got his hands on a ability?
And the thing that makes the whole thing even funnier is after you write your own What ifs (unlimited) you put one What if for the next poster..

Example..
What if.. Sylar met Matt
Matt would go very.. very angry and trap Sylar in his own mind.. Or maybe erease all his memories and try to make him good. Or force him to do things, like suicide..

Or the most intresting..
What if... the metas were the majority?
They would eventually have an amazing civilazation.. Bad guys would get killed by equally strong good guys and so on.. We would probably discover half of our galaxy in a century or something.. Unlimited human resources (clones), amazingly strong workers (enhanced strength), much, much better technology/science (initutive aptude (spel?!l)) etc..

What if Claire got Emphatic Mimicry?

This is why the writers really need to come up with better plots. Some of the ideas you suggest need to be addressed to make a world with metahumans in it more plausible.

Look at Baron Samedi. The only reason he wasn't already in control of all of Haiti is because he didn't think on a grand scale. He was happy to control the little region he did. The man definitely qualifies as a warlord, though. Since he and Arthur knew each other, though, it makes you wonder why Arthur didn't take his power?

The writers aren't thinking about the story. If they were they would see how many holes and unplausible scenarios they have created. By trying to please the fans early on they went in a direction that inadvertently steered most fans away. By trying to recon their initial actions and also please the critics they have made screw up after screw up. They need to find a few writers who know more about the areas of which the show is based instead of stabbing in the dark, hoping to get their ratings up.

You should change the thread title to include what NOTS. I'm sure there are plenty of users on here who have a say on what they think the writers are doing wrong.

Like for me,

1) Please get out of the "comic relief" Hiro and turn him into the "badass" Hiro we saw in the future.
2) Enough is enough with Suresh and his "insect" ability.
3) Please choose a side for Sylar/Nathan and let them STAY on that side.

There are a lot more but those are the three that aggravate me the most.
