Because he travelled into the future, with Future Peter, and saw Sylar's good side, he'll try to connect with Sylar in the present.

Sylar will likely go to hunt down Peter's mom next, and likely, Peter will not exactly allow Sylar to kill her, but he'll want to know too, why they both (arthur and angela), manipulated Sylar to be their weapon.

While he already believes Pinehurst is a problem, we don't really know much about (insert name of Odessa, TX paper mill co. that I forget the name of). We don't know their status in the future . . .

My bet, is that Pinehurst wipes them out. In the future we see Daphne, Knox, Claire, (not to mention Nathan and his lass) working for Pinehurst (although Mohinder is apparently, working elsewhere >_> <_<). This is a big shift, Daphne also incorporates Matt . . .



(A few interesting points:
When hiro travels to the future, he sees him and Ando arguing, fighting over the formula . . . now why would the formular STILL be important, when it's already been studied and analyzed?

The Haitian is obviously able to control his abilities, at least to some extent. He had exert himself to continue holding Arthur.

This is all interesting. Maybe in trying to be the good guy Peter ends up being the bad guy. BTW I still think it's possible that Sylar will have a son named Noah. I just have a different idea of who I think the mother will be. coughClairecough

I think Peter and Sylar will become very close.

Peter will have to go into hiding, because his views on whats right and wrong become to radical in the eyes of the Pinehurst peeps.
(Note that the Haitian too is working for Pinehurst . . .)

I believe Peter begins to take radical, large steps, that make all of the heroes unanimously uncomfortable.

The only difference thus far, is that Peter has sylars ability, and saw the future.
