Sylar or Peter?

I've recently been re-watching the first season and in one of the earlier episodes after Parkman saves Molly and they have her in the FBI facility someone breaks in and tries to take Molly. They say it is Sylar however Parkman shoots "Sylar" and he goes down being shot only to get back up again and go away. "Sylar" was also dragging Molly out of the room which isn't very Sylar like. First of all Sylar at that point did not have Claire's power to heal so a gun shot wound at the time to any place would have killed him. Also the figure was dressed a lot like Peter was when he shot Nathan when he came back from the future. Perhaps they need Molly for something in the future and Peter came back to get her.

That's an interesting idea. I don't remember Sylar getting shot in that scene but I guess I need to go back and watch it. Who knows. Maybe you're on to something.

Sylar was telekinetically stopping the bullets before they got to him. Tough to do, I'm sure...but if you are "pushing" against any incoming object then you can catch them. You can also "push" any incoming object to deflect around you--they shoot but the bullets all miss you. Either way, you're fine.

I pretty sure mathy is right. However, Sylar had been shot and otherwise damaged a few other times before receiving Claire's ability and was able to recover. In fact, he specifically said in a graphic novel (after being shot by Noah in season 1) that while the bullet wounds wouldn't kill him, it would've been far easier with Claire's regeneration; this implies that he has some other way of healing besides his newfound immortality. Your theory is interesting, nonetheless.
