Claire is special

SO I don't know if this has been posted yet and if it has then go ahead and beat me now cause I'll probably enjoy it.

I know I'm not the only one who thinks this but being as I don't use my thinking skills that often when I do have a slightly intellegent thought I get excited and have to share. It's nothing big but...., like I said, I get excited. LOL

In season two Adam states that a blow to head is what will do them in so to speak. Well Sylar tells CLaire that she is special, that she will never die. Maybe he's right.

Adam is over four hundred years old. He's been around a long time but Claire is just starting out. Maybe her brain has evolved farther than Adam's has and that's what cause her brain to handle damage better. SO Adam believes that a bullet to the brain is what will kill him but maybe a bullet to Claire's won't. Sylar does have the ability to see how things work. He did tell her she was special and that her brain wasn't like the others. Why tell CLaire she would never die? Why lie to her after he'd gotten what he wanted from her?

Unless you can reattach her head to the rest of her body, which is probably possible.

I always thought Adam and Claire have identical abilities. They can both heal and live forever.

But, remember in season 1 when a branch entered the back of Claire's head and she became "dead" (eyes white, unconscious) until the branch was removed.

And again in season 1, when Peter fought Sylar, a piece of glass went in the back of Peter's head (same place) and he was also "dead" until Claire removed the glass. Peter's healing ability came from Claire so they should work the same way.

Also, in season 2 Peter's mom mentioned that Adam and Peter can only be killed by a bullet right through the head.

So, Claire CAN be killed, as long as something punctured the back of her head, or damage the brain somehow. Is it possible that Sylar is mistaken? Perhaps he does not know about the back of head vulnerable spot.

You could suffocate her. I don't see how you can regenerate from that.

After she suffocates and "dies", I'm thinking she could recover once she's in a place with oxygen. Regardless of the condition her body is in (which, without oxygen, would be a pretty bad condition), her brain will always make sure she survives (as long as the brain is intact, of course). I think the only way to truly kill her is to completely obliterate her brain. A shotgun to the head should do it because of the scattershot. Or a bomb.

I'm still gonna stick with the idea that Claire can not die. Even if something happens to her brain. There has to be a reason why the writers made Sylar say what he did when he took her ability. Maybe I'm just stubborn.

Ima gonna say that Claire is like Wolverine. ONE iota of a cell can regenerate a whole body...therefore, she can never really die.

I think she can reheal from anything however she doesn't know how to fully do it yet as her brain still has these reactions of fear etc and she can't fully control her power.

Like when she was being suffocated she panicked and couldn't use her power.

That's actually a good point. Maybe CLaire needs to shed her fear to discover her true potential. Hmmm. Interesting.
