Indie rock & pop
Recently I've been getting more into the indie rock scene.
My sister introduced me to Vampire Weekend. They've got an interesting and unique sound. I've also discovered Ra Ra Riot - indie rock tinged with pop. I especially recommend Tokyo Police Club. Probably one of the coolest bands I've ever heard. Try them! |

I heard of Vampire Weekend from a Rolling Stone mag and got my friend into them...
never heard of Ra Ra Riot, but they sound interesting...at least the name does. I really like Tokyo Police Club but can't seem to remember where I heard about them. *runs off to listen to something by Ra Ra Riot* any recommendations for this band?

 My station for alt/indy rock is 97X...well, used to be...they are only online now, but at least they are on.
