Our memories are what shape us. They give us our desires, our morals, our values. Everything we are. The people in them, the people we love, they give us the strength to go on. But sometimes, it's the memory of those we've lost that gives us the greatest strength.

In the end, all we know is what's before us. We can try as hard as we want to change the future, but the truth is most of it has already been written. The past writes the future just as our memories make up who we are. And try as we might, we can only stop so much. Not every disaster can be averted. Not every innocent life can be saved...

At Jaydens fathers funeral a man stands in the shadows. Unknown to Jayden the man who ordered her fathers killer stands just a few feet away from her. As Ryker comes to comfort her she

As she seeks justice and revenge she encounters Josh. But is unable to stop the man Carvel from escaping.


Las Vegas, Riley and Jack

Riley and Jack try to get back as normal a life as they can muster. But destiny isn't finished with Riley, as 2 people from the future who claim to have connections to her find her in the present. And she gets a phone call from a person thought long dead.

Layden Hart
Destiny is fickle. Sometimes we think it's our own but the it throws us a curve ball. Launching us into situations we never could have seen coming. Situations we might have avoided if we could.

Sometimes there's more to destiny then meets the eye. The events we see are not always as they seem, not always part of some grand design. And sometimes that grand design isn't part of some greater power at all. Sometimes it is man who forges the destiny of others, who guides their paths to his will.


Las Vegas, Riley and Jack

Riley and Jack set out for South America, with little idea of what they will find. As they board the plane they are unaware of the eyes watching them. The eyes that have never stopped watching Riley, not since she first gained her powers.

Isabelle and Mitchel

Having missed their chance to change the future Isabelle and Mitchel look for another way. With time as their greatest enemy Isabelle works to formulate a new plan. One which cannot fail, lest history repeat itself, or worse. With this in mind they head to Pittsburgh, to find someone who only days before had dreamed of vengeance.


Philadelphia, Zachariah, Angel and Ramsey

Zachariah continues killing without reason or mercy. As Ramsey pursues him and a young woman with a remarkable gift is caught in the cross fire. As Angel collapses on an ER floor Ramsey and Zachariah confront each other, while a man waits in the shadows for his chance to strike.


Philadelphia, Layden, Kelly and Oliver

As Layden arrived in town he met an old friend, a young girl who'd lost her gift, only to have it save her. As they race Kelly to hospital and he is drawn deeper into this world again.


Layden
Destiny gives us opportunity and hope. But it also makes us lose control. Each of us must decide for ourselves what path we will take. And as our stories unfold who knows where we will turn. Or what forks we may find in the road ahead.

Riley Walker
It is with a heavy soul that we face the future. A soul burdened by our pasts, be they positives or negatives. Within each of us are memories of times we would rather forget, and times we wished would never end. And regardless of if we acknowledge it or not, the desire to remake these circumstances drives us. And the urge to avoid the bad times again keeps us following a narrow path. A path which isn't always as productive as we might hope.


Brazil - Riley and Jack

Jack and Riley continue their search for Chris, now closing in on the plantation where Riley found him they are unaware of the 2 forces pursuing them. Attempting to divert them from their goal. The mysterious young people from the future, and the man in black, who attempts to turn as many as he can against Jack.



Abbadon Prison, Nevada - Mr Carvel

Carvel works his strange abilities to weed out the patterns of the future, seeing the paths as they unravel. And as the time of his victory draws closer he sets new villains out on paths to bring his plans to fruition. To bring destiny into his control.



Philadelphia - Zachariah, Layden, Kelly, Oliver

Zachariah's encounter with one of the men in black ends with him being unaware it happened. Now infused with hypnotic commands, and ready to be called at any moment.

Kelly Layden and Oliver attempt to learn their path, and tease out the true reasons behind all that has happened to them. And why they are so drawn to each other.

Riley Walker
As destiny approaches and our true purposes are made clear our pasts become even more important. The roles we've played, the things we've done, the people we've met and lost. All play a role in what will inevitably happen. In the end avoiding our fate is not as easy as just ignoring it, and often even trying only sends us hurtling faster towards it.

Wiilliam Carvel.
To save the world, we must first let it burn. Throughout the ages civilizations have risen, only to fall under their own corruptions. Now our civilization has reached it's end. But before it's fall is complete we must be ready for a new society to take it's place.


Brazil - Riley, Jack, Isabelle, Mitch

Mitches reservations about helping jack continue to bring his motives into question, as Isabelle becomes more desperate to not only complete their mission, but now to find her father who she believed was dead. But now she's not so sure.

The pair from the future attempt to break into the plantation with Riley and Jack to find any trace of Chris.



Philadelphia - Zachariah, Layden, Kelly, Oliver

Layden and Oliver face off against Zachariah who holds Kelly captive. As Olivers powers expand out of pure desperation Layden tries to stay come, now that his new friends have learned one of his darkest secrets.


Abaddon

Carvel continues to recruit new villains to his cause, his plans falling into place. As the end comes closer he has 1 more ace up his sleeve, waiting to release it to the person who he knows is on her way.

Every society needs it's leader, every society needs to be controlled. Ours has grown beyond controllable, beyond that which can be saved. In the ashes of destruction we will usher in a new era. One where the iron fist of prosperity rules and guides each and every one of us to change. To achieve what we have been too meek to achieve. No longer shall the flawed and weak hold us back. No longer shall those who would undermine us with feelings of anger, hate, fear and repression continue to plague our streets. The world will know utopia.

Kelly Bourne
Change is inevitable. As is life. Life, death, change, all happen in time and we cannot stop them no matter how we might try. Each of us learns for ourselves that no mater how over our journey may be, it is usually just the beginning of something different.

Abaddon - Kelly Bourne

Kelly Bourne awakens to a world unfamiliar. After her "death" in Philadelphia she has been taken to a cell deep in the bowels of Abaddon prison, where Carvel now keeps her drugged and placated, while his plans for the world continue just outside her cell door.


Philadelphia - Zachariah, Layden and Oliver

Having escaped Zachariah Oliver and Layden are faced with a new reality. With Kelly believed dead, murdered by the vicious Zachariah. The pair now must decide what to do next. But when they discover her body is gone, what then?

South America - Riley, Jack, Isabelle, Mitchel

Chris is alive and well. Or at least he was a few days ago. With the discovery of his transfer orders and the announcement by Isabelle that they have 2 days to reach Abaddon prison or else the world will end, the group heads to steal a plane from the nearest airport. Mitchel flies on ahead while the time traveling heroine stays with her future mentor. Steeling herself for the road ahead.

South America - John and Jason

Josh, the man who tried to kill Jack under the effects of Cavels drugs picks up Jason in a small town. Confessing his powers quickly to Jason his motives are uncertain.

The Pacific Ocean

The race is on. With the dead line set at 2 days Daley makes his way with his team to a submarine off the West coast. What plan will they set in motion and what does this mean for the world if they succeed.

Endings are not final, no door closes forever, and even death does not always prove eternal. Our futures are far from certain, though sometime it seems like destiny is simply toying with us, leading us down 1 path then another waiting to see when we break. But we will not falter, we will fight for our future, even if the outcome seems a certainty.

Jack Raiden
We all make our journey in our own way. Some of us dive in, and some more cautiously. When we get to the end, the final challenge before we face our destiny, we must decide how we will make that last step.


Abaddon Prison

As Kelly sits in her cell, waiting for the final shoe to drop. Carvel preps his master plan. With a day to go the peices are all falling in to place.

Meanwhile Isabelle, Riley, Mitch and Jack discover a stowaway on their stolen jet. A man with a past that makes him more valuable to them then they would first believe, who's power may prove essential to stopping the man behind the iron gates of Abaddon. And to helping Isabelle and Riley learn Chris's fate.

Jack Raiden
When we take that final step it is the journey that will decide how we do it. Will we go guns blazing to our ends, ensuring that we succeed with little care for anything else? Or will our desire to find a better way win out in the end? Will we be who we always were, or has the journey truely made us into a Hero.

BEFORE

2 years ago Cazmack formed the Heroes. A group of super powered people with the intent of protecting the world from a criminal group under the instruction of Triggs. There were battles, victories, losses. As the Heroes collapsed Triggs gained power, until the Helix company stepped in to stop him with a powerful virus.

With Riley under the control of Helix and Chris hunting for a cure the end seemed close. Joining forces with Triggs Chris broke into Helix and stopped the virus, but not before nearly losing his wife to the virus.

Chris and Riley drifted apart, and soon they were the only survivors they knew of. Liz was dead, Shawn gone, Caz, Nick, Ryu, Bryan, Tessa, all were in hiding or missing. It was up top them to hold the torch now. New enemies came at them, Lilith and Trinity returned, turning Hero against Hero, friend against friend. When Chris died they turned to a new puppet, the power empath Kain. They used him until they couldn't anymore, to guide Riley Jack and the others to exactly the right places. It was time for Carvel to step out of the shadows. His plans were in place, the ground work was laid. The once unified Heroes were scattered, even the Syndicate and it's splinter groups had fallen. The Helix company had collapsed and nothing stood between Carvel and the world. All he needed was 1 last act of devastation to grip the world.

THE CONCLUSION

Chris Campbell

The future. A wise person once told me the future is what we make it, that destiny and fate are our own an no one elses. Another man recently told me that he manipulated my entire life. But even if he didn't, if he just took my own life and used my choices for his own ends, is my fate still my own. Or has he claimed it for himself.

Abaddon Prison

Riley Jack and Isabelle assaulted the prison with a renewed determination. With little time remaining it was up to them to stop Carvel and his plans. With old friends laying beaten, having been beaten by their own urges, having betrayed them, new allies followed them inside where they found Chris, alive and well. And brain washed into serving Carvel.

Once turned by Riley the mission was simple, stop Carvel by any means necessary. With a nuclear missle overhead Riley and Chris took their stolen jet to intercept it. Hoping against hope to stop it.

The impact was incredible. And as debris rained down to the earth the bodies of Riley and Chris were caught by an injured Mitchel. They fell to earth, broken but victorious. And thought Mitchel and Isabelle of the future lay dead in the desert sands, Riley and Chris were alive. And now they had a new mission. Stop the prisoners who'd escaped, and save Riley walkers life.

Chris Campbell

This isn't the world I wanted. Or the one I hoped for. But it is what it is. The world is filled with hate, and fear, and evil. But these things make us human. For all our flaws it is our flaws that give us our humanity. Fear drives us to face it, hatred drives us to create change, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

But there is also good, happyness, love. Without the bad we can't have the good. No matter how much we may wish to erase the bad parts of humanity, we need them. For they are as much a part of us as anything.

End Arc 6

Arc 7

A man sat in a dark room. His face scared and battered. His right arm bleeding from a bullet wound. But no matter, the wound would be gone soon enough. He looked around at the others. They were neither his friends, nor his enemies. Just people like him who wanted their freedom, men who'd been brought too close to the edge, and then had their sanity pushed over. He raised a hand to a gun on the ground, the murder weapon. A family sat in the corner, not his. One of the others. He raised his hand and the gun melted into a puddle of metal on the ground.

It's done. Your revenge. There were 4 of them there, none of them knew each others names, or would even remember their faces. And they didn't care too. They left the building, each taking a different road. Their paths were different, and they were but a fraction of those who escaped. They each had their own revenge planned, their own plans for the future. Few of them good, few of them Heroic. The man huddled himself in a black coat and took an old cap out of his pocket to shield his eyes from the light rain. He walked into the darkness, never to be seen again.

Anyways yes this should be very good. I really do hope we keep it really active even though heroes does not get going until September. This will probably also be the last arc of our own complete sort of free play if you know what I mean. Since usually when the show start airing again we modify SLs on the RPG to go along with it better, and remain in the 'heroes-verse' which seems to always be slightly changing anyways.
