Default "The Braveson Killings" - return of a villain

As I'm royally bored this summer, I'm considering running / starting a thread that continues Alex Braveson's rampage of vigilante justice across the world. The specific setting for the thread has yet to be determined, but it would likely be in a densely populated metropolitan area, much like his other adventures.

Leading off from Alex's assault on three metahumans a couple of months ago, the police have by now managed to pull together enough evidence to finger the killer with some certainty.

I'm looking for people that would be interested in playing a target, a victim, one of the police forces chasing him down, a member of a secret agency responsible for managing rogue metahumans, or maybe even just another meta on the wrong side of the law to clash with!

--

As shown in a previous thread, Alex finds his victims by mind-reading somewhat randomly. He'll visit a bar, or a bowling alley, or a carnival, and cast his mind's 'net' wide, trying to find betraying thoughts of some sort of guilt. If he finds anything promising, he tries to isolate his victims and probe deep into their minds to find out exactly what they're hiding. Such a massive invasion of privacy is what agencies would call a Mind Rape. To Alex, the ends justify the means.

Early on, Alex's used his illicitly gained information to break scandals through major newspapers and bring hidden criminals to justice. However, when one victim (one of the metas previosuly mentioned) actually managed to see Alex right before the mind reader attacked him, Alex got desperate and attempted to murder the boy before he could wake up and reveal Alex's identity. However, he could not bring himself to do it, and further botched a later attempt to again kill the same boy and his two friends.

Since then, Alex's assaults have become far more aggravated and direct. Not all of his attacks end with a body count, but those that don't are increasingly becoming the exception, not the rule. Hence: "The Braveson Killings."

There are no police agencies responsible for meta's. We've covered this.

That's why it's police / agencies.

ie. there are police that investigate murders, like ordinary cops.

And then there are agencies, like the Company.

Edited the first post for clarity.
