Private (AU): The Game . . .
Please keep in mind this is a private AU. Invites have been sent out to the people I think would do the best with this, and unless someone drops out, I have everyone I need. Now, I don’t remember everyone I invited, so please pm if you think you got an invite, and if you want in. Please respect this. Thank you.
Also, those of you in the AU, feel free to RP as loosely as you wish, but this does have a pretty specific storyline.

The Game. . .
There are people in this world who are insanely wise. They have a wide range of knowledge, and the right tools to use it. With learning, comes experience. The only way to get something engraved into the delicate wonders of the mind is to endure it or live it out. Now, the mentors of wisdom are called teachers. They feel it is their duty to spread knowledge to those around them. There are a number of ways to teach this info, from recitation to experimentation. Yet sometimes, the most productive ways of teaching, can be slightly risky. So the question arises . . . do the ends just the means? Sometimes, something originally planned to be simple, can end up getting extremely out of hand.
Little is known about this thread, simply because I love to be spontaneous. The only things most people should know, is this takes place in the Maldives, a Cruise Ship is involved, there are ten people on the cruise, and last but not least, the Game.

Carter Penn
“No honey, it will be great,” were the words from the ever generous Anne.
“But baby,” Carter replied, trying to resist the strained arms against his back, “Don’t you and Gracie need me?”
“We’ll be fine,” she said, picking up his suitcase and putting it in front of him, “You should take this opportunity. It will be the cruise of a lifetime. You need to relax and unwind”
“But-“
“No buts,” she said kissing him on the cheek, “Now hurry, or you’ll miss your flight.”
Carter smiled. “Fine,” he said rolling his eyes sarcastically and returning her kiss. He picked up his suitcase and walked out to his blue ford truck. “Bye!” he said, screaming after her. He slammed the door and started the car. “If you need me-“
“We won’t!” She said, waving goodbye, and then shutting the front door.
Carter sighed and took the car out of neutral. He delicately put his foot on the gas and cruised out of the driveway. Maybe she’s right, he thought, turning onto Elm Street. He really did need to take a break from everything. And what better way than a cruise to Australia? The idea seemed better and better every minute, yet he still knew he was going to miss his family. He had become so caught up in the baby and work, that he had very little time for himself. Yet, he wasn't a selfish man.
Arriving at the airport, he hopped in line for the routine pre-flight agenda. Stepping up to the counter, he spoke plainly to the front desk, “One ticket for Ft. Lauderdale.”

Jet Rayner
Ever since he was eleven, Jet always got the short end of the stick. Nothing ever came easy, and Jet always had to work hard for what he got in life. This was the first time Jet had something work out for him. He was invited on a cruise leaving from Miami. He would get to travel the world and see stuff that he had always dreamed of seeing. He just hoped that this invite wasn't some clever hoax.
Jet got off of the bus out in front of the docks in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It was nothing that he had been expecting and had seen on TV, but it was good enough. He could see the skyline of buildings behind the intertwining highways leading to the airport. There were ships docked at the port and all around were various bridges leading to the small islands of the inter coastal of South Florida. The highway signs around him shined in the hot sunlight. It all seemed surreal.
He set his small suitcase down on the sidewalk and took a picture on his cell phone of the ship. He would be sure to show his friends when he returned home. Jet walked under the bridge that crossed above the street and into the main building to check in. He could see a large half circular door which was closed, but he assumed it would open to let them on board. Jet got in line behind three others waiting and set his bags down. This was too good to be true.

"Music was invented because everyone needs something to run to, even when they think no one is listening."
Dustin Schumacher set down his single suitcase down on the brushed-metal walkway and waited.
Dustin was suspicious at first when he learned that he had won a cruise to the Maldives, but Dustin checked the line out, and they seemed legitimate. Besides, he needed a vacation.
Dustin waited silently in the check in line for ten minutes. Finally, the boredom got to him and said casually to the man ahead of him, "So, did you win this cruise too?"

Jet turned around, sweeping his brown hair to the side out of habit as he did. The man behind him was in the same boat as him... no pun intended. He won the cruise too, whew. He shrugged. "Yeah, yeah I guess I did." He said, smirking somewhat. "So you did too? Thats good, it means it must be legit, or we're both being played like fools."

Carter's plane touched down at 1;00 that afternoon. After renting a Chevy Impala, he arrived at the docks later that day. The salty wind whipped his shortly-cut hair up and around as much as it could, as he shielded his eyes from the harsh sun rays. Giving out a deep sigh, he picked up his bags and walked up to the line in front of a boat called the Queen Majesteria. As his gray t-shirt stuck close to his body, he set his bags down and got out his ticket. In front of him were two men, already waiting for the doors to open. Giving an uncaring wave and half-grin, he stuck his hands in his pocket and waited for this trip to begin.
As he joined the back of the line, Keaton thought back to the day he'd won the cruise. It had been a rather odd day, even by Keaton's standards. He'd held a big party the night before and when he'd woken up in the morning he'd found a Rastafarian in his bath. So Keaton had tried to get the man out, but he was pushed down the stairs and rolled out into his garden, naked.
Of course, the Rastafarian had then locked Keaton outside, so he'd been forced to walk to school naked.. However when he got home he found the letter saying he'd won and here he was, ready to board the ship.
The twenty year old sighed, adjusting the messenger bag around her shoulder. Her large mac laptop, and a few books tucked inside were weighing her down, nevermind her luggage. One black, roll along suitcase, moved smoothly behind her across the floor. Taylor was not exactly sure of where she was going. She won a cruise supposedly... Some random letter sent in the mail. The young woman had no idea how it happened, but whatever. She had offered it to her parents but they denied, almost forcing it onto her. They said if she did not go, they would not help her continue paying for college. Taylor was a zoology major, and it was extremely important to her. Without their help she would lose the one thing that mattered...so here she was. Taylor knew she was a very reserved person, and in reality had no friends. Unless you counted her birds, cat, and hamster...Her parents and family said that did not though, that's why she needed this trip : to meet people.
Taylor rolled her eyes at the thoughts of making friends. She did not need them, she had friends, the animals. I even sound crazy to myself... She spotted a line forming and a sign about the cruise. Taylor wandered over, tucking her short blonde hair behind her ear. She stood behind a few men who had started talking already. She kept to herself though. Taylor was far more interested in getting to the islands to see, and meet the wildlife living on them.

Carter began to sway back and forth while making clicking noises with his teeth. The five of them, apparently being the only ones on the cruise, stood there silently, waiting for the doors to open. By each second, Carter got more and more restless, eventually sighing, and sitting down on the curb. Just as his bottom touched the cement, the large gate gradually swung open to reveal the path up to the ship. "Finally," he muttered, looking at his watch. The group had been waiting outside for close to an hour now, and some rest and relaxation sounded like a great idea.
As they began walking up to the boat, a deep voice boomed out of the unseen speakers. "Welcome guests," it spoke in a cheery tone, "You are about to go on the trip of a lifetime. This all exclusive, practically private cruise aboard the luxurious Queen Majesteria, is certain to blow your minds. First, board the boat and you'll find pamphlets on your bed talking about the various activities available until we make our first stop in the Maldives! Let the fun and Games begin!" Carter chuckled as a microphone clicked off and the 5 of them took their first steps on to one of the biggest mistakes of their lifes.

Jet stared up at the speaker for a moment, only to discover when he looked down that the others had already began to board the ship. He grabbed his bag and stepped up towards the boat, shaking his head at the cheesiness in the Captain's voice. He stepped onto the ship after crossing the small bridge and looked around. It was gorgeous; he couldn't deny it. Jet turned to the girl behind him and smiled: "This is really nice." He said.

Taylor let her green eyes wander as she stood in line. What's the point of doing this... for college for college. I have to keep telling myself that! She walked slowly onto the ship, not at all looking enthused or impressed with its beauty. A guy started talking to her, and she struggled for something to say. What do I say? I hate small talk. I don't know him from a hole in the wall... "..uh...yeah"
Was all she managed to vocalize and a weak smile plastered onto her face for a few seconds to go along with it.
They walked onto the ship and were directed down a small set of stairs where their cabins would be. Taylor checked her papers, she was room five.
