Here's the rules! You try to link someone to someone else or a TV show/movie to another TV show/movie or mix them up! For Example I would say 'Link Heroes to Doctor Who!' and you would answer 'Christopher Eccleston was in both of them'. I doesn't have to be one thing away, as long as you want! It doesn't have to be Heroes either. I'll start.
That's not what I meant! People doing the same jobs is not a link! Anyway, there's a much shorter one! Someone from Heroes was in The X-Files!(As a guest, in both of them!)
It is a valid connection, both TV shows have fictional FBI agents. If you're not crazy about the format it was for descriptive and proof purposes, nothing more.
It's a graphical representation of the relational bridge between the two TV shows Heroes and The X-Files. The two are unrelated but slightly similar, the relationship between them being; science fiction, fictional Federal Bureau of Investigation agents, characters with telepathy, characters with telekinesis, serial killers, and a story riddled with questions about the conflict between faith and science.
Besides, there were no rules about how they had to be connected. I looked at it as a Common Denominator game and played accordingly. You merely said to link the two, not how or what with.
Furthermore, what if I were not privy to the aforementioned information of a guest appearance on both shows? If the only correct answer is that then this is a LCD (or Lowest Common Denominator) game, a sport at which I cannot play well.
Finally, am I to understand that if I am not "up" on my acting trivia that I will be second-guessed and talked-down-to for every link I create that does not involve someone of the acting profession? If so it would likely be wise to edit your first post and add that information, thereby saving others the same headache and sense of being offended I am currently enjoying.
The link must be made going from actor-actor and not just be something two shows have in common. (unless it's an actor) The link should be the shortest possible or known, but if someone gives an accurate link, then that will be deemed correct. The person who guessed the link correctly will have the next turn. The answer I was looking for in mine was that Rusty Schwimmer guest starred in both Heroes and The X-Files. As no one got it right, anyone can have a turn.

Re: Link!
Geez Karambit have you never played 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon or 6 degrees of separation?? There is no need to get pissy. BB got it. The answer is Karl T. Wright who played Principal Marks on Heroes and "First Associate" on X-files. Also John Prosky was "principal" on heroes and a medical examiner on X-files. thirdly, Karri Turner played Lisa on heroes and Tara Scully on X files. Fourthly (Is that a word) Eric Avari *Chandra Suresh* also played Dr. Herb Fountain on the X -Files. Colby French played hank on Heroes and a Deputy on the X- Files. Stacey Haiduk played Elisa Thayer on Heroes and Margaret "Maggie" Waterston on X- Files. Danielle Savre played Jackie Wilcox on Heroes and Marcia Brady on the X-Files. lots of connections to that show. I am not very good at creating the connections, but I can find them. I will let someone else decide the next one.
