Salem Witch Hunt/Trials (Alternate Universe)

OOC: Thread for the Salem Witch Trials.

Theres two ways you can go with it.

1) Your character is exposed using their ability and is accused of witchcraft by other people.

2)Your character accuses of withcraft to protect him or herself.

Guidelines
1.Remember its 1692
2.You can accuse other characters of witchcraft, just NO godmodding.
3. If you dont know much about the trials, read this.

Katy Brooks.
Age 15

It was late afternoon on a cloudy sunday. Katy Brooks had just left the church. Their was a meeting, the weekly town meeting. She didnt really care about what was going on, but it was manditory for all town members to attend. There was some suspicious activity going on in town. Katy pretended she didnt know anything about it. Katy was sworn not to tell anyone but the older girls. She had always been told not to speak out of turn, so she didnt say anything.

There were rumors going around that some of the children in town were falling ill. A few days before, Katy and a few of the other girls had gone into the woods. A slave of one of the girls families, was from Barbados and she practiced voodoo. She had a kettle, and she knew some spells. She showed the girls some spells, and some of them even undressed and danced around in the woods. The Reverend found them. All the girls freaked out and went their seperate ways. Now it was being peiced together and Katy was scared.

Katy got to her home. Her parents were back at the chruch, talking to some towns people. Katy wanted to get as far away from there as she could.

Diana
Age: 137

Diana had lived for ages in this town when this witch hunting madness began. She was one of the first targets. She really couldnt understand why? She had helped people in this town, with her blood to regenerate them, with her guarding and with her kindness but still when this madness started she immidieatly was a Villain for the people. She had ran out to the woods, not because she was scared. She knew people other people with abilities and she observed the town and waited for them to see if they need any help. She had a good experience of being rejected because of her powers.

Alessandro Bugetti
Age 16

Being foreigners, Alessandro and his family had to be careful in these times. The fact that his sister could move objects with her mind only made things harder. They had to be very careful with what they did. One slip up, and they could be accused of being witches. If that happened, his family would try to run. Another result of his sister's talents was that he accused other people of being witches to get the heat off of themselves. The Bugetti's didn't like doing this, but they had to in order to keep the heat of off themselves.

As Alessandro left the towns weekly meeting at the church, he spotted Katy hurrying off towards her house. Her and a few other girls had been acting strangely recently and Alessandro often wondered why. He would've gone after her, but he'd been asked to get some wood for the fire before he returned home.

Alessandro entered the woods and began to look for some firewood. He wouldn't need an axe, as he could just pick bits up off of the floor. Once he had a decent load, he began to make his way back towards town while whistling.

Diana saw Alessandro, the foreign familys kid, picking some wood. She ran up to him and said. Pssst! Alessandro?

Alessandro Bugetti

When Alessandro hear his name, he immediately looked around. He spotted Diana, a woman who had fled the village. He looked around, making sure nobody could see them. It was nothing personnel, he just didn't want people to see him with her and assume something. However, seeing nobody he replied "Diana? What is it you want?"

Look, I know its a lot of presure in the town, but If someone needs any help, or being accused of witchcraft just tell them that I am waiting in the woods and can help and if something really bad happens, come here and inform me. Diana said. Alright? I know its a bit risky but you are not the only one with these abilities in that town.

Alessandro Bugetti

What was Diana talking about? Alessandro didn't have any "ability", well at least he thought he didn't. Still, it might be useful to bring his sister out here for some help. "I'll see what I can do." He told her, before he heard a twig snap. He looked in the direction the sound came from, and spotted the Reverend. Luckily, he was looking the other way. He looked at Diana and told her "I'll bring my sister back later," before hurrying off.

Katy Brooks

Katy had gone back into the house. She had some chores to get done. She grabbed the tin bucket and went outside to feed the animals. Katy was dressed in a long plain dress. It fit her snuggly and she had her hair in a bun with a hair covering. Katy also had one her only pair of plain black shoes. She walked outside the house to the animals.
