Seoul is an intriguing city transforming itself from the Yi Dynasty capital of the Hermit Kingdom to a major mover and shaker on the international scene, especially in the field of commerce and sports. Nowhere else is the Korean drive to come to terms with a turbulent and fractured past so evident.

Jay Lee
It has been a while since Jay revisited his hometown. After receiving education in America during the majority of his life, Seoul seemed like a totally different world.

Jay stepped of the train, and sat himself in a small Korean restaurant.
He ordered himself some Kim chi and a bowl of soup.
As the spicy vegetable made contact with Jay's tongue, he felt a sensation which he had not felt for a long time.

"I'm home" he said aloud in English.

It's just a ****ing miracle the general population is idiotic.

[Rick] continued playing with the computer between bites of noodles. You wouldn't have known from seeing him now but ten years ago he'd just gotten out of a three year prison sentence. Then he got mixed up with the wrong crowd and became a morally upstanding protector of society, in his own twisted way. His job was to kept the flow of information moving between contacts set-up in various places. There was the Czech that had proven hard to convince and harder to control. The math-whiz was dead but he'd contributed greatly. His lady-friend had made sure his family was set for life.

I have an abnormal weather pattern developing over Russia. Should I mobilize Krascovitch? [Rick] only bothered to take a look at a animated image of the Russian weather before saying; Do it. Pronto. Looks like that weather manipulator is at it again. God damn if we didn't mess him up just the other day.

When his noodly-goodness had been exhausted [Rick] said. I'm off for now. Damn Korean street-hugs and their homicidal tendencies. See ya later babe.

Im home! Jes heared a man say sitting on the table behind her. This was anywhere else but home for her. She had to leave Zahid dealing with Edward alone in Geneva and she wasnt proud of that. She had to wait a couple of days here until people saw her. Then maybe a mob or a high up person would have heard of her and hired to a job. She was famous, even here. She sipped a bit the soup that arrived with the waitress.

Jay looked around him, and noticed a foreign lady sipping soup on the table directly in front of him. He noticed her glance back, and for a moment their eyes met.

Jay got up from his table and sat himself down on the table next to the woman.
"I take that you're not from around here," he offered a warm smile.

Suddenly her bowl was smashed and two seconds after a gun shot was heard. She was expecting this. Sniper! She said. GET DOWN! Another bullet came in but dodged Jes. Sh*t!! Im going out from the backdoor.

Jay heart the trajectory of the bullets before it even arrived, and immediately back flipped himself of the chair. He landed on his two feet.
This is a matter of life and death he kept telling himself.
Jay had a feeling that more bullets would come flying towards them. He quickly pulled Jessica onto his shoulder and started to carry them out of the back door. As they were passing through the wooden frame, Jay sensed a bullet and immediately jerked himself low. The bullet missed Jessica and Jay by inches.

The two broke free into the fresh air, and Jay let Jessica slid off his back.
"What the f**k! Seriously, what the f**k!"
