This is an Alternate Universe thread! It hasn't got anything to do with any other threads. It's just a party for all of our characters to come together and hang out celebrating the holidays.

Just make sure you let us know the characters name and age and stuff like that, but we probably already know, heh. So let's get started!

Scott arrives at the gathering hall to wait for the party to start.

The Old Man sat on the balcony overlooking the waters.

"Ahh" He said "Some peace."

In this day and age, where the world was torn by war, mostly which was instigated by religion, the institution of Christmas was one of waning importance for the diverse culture of the world. The joyous holiday still celebrated by the majority of the West however, and this year was no different. For Colin, Christmas was always a special holiday, next only to Halloween. The kid in him always became giddy with excitement as the holiday approached. He had spent last Yuletide season under the unbearable heat of the desert. Having grown up in Swansea, Wales where snow wasn't a regularity, but it was an occasional occurance that he had come to equate with the season, and its accompanying festivities. So the offer to head to a cooler climate for the season had him "migrating" at the drop of a hat. Dragging his brother with him, so that he could keep an eye on the deviant.

When he and his brother arrived at the Hall for the night's event, Colin seemed a little tense. He hated being one of the first to arrive, it was like being overeager about something that he probably shouldn't be. It was like an office party, for SGs, and that could prove unpredictable. Family gatherings hadn't always gone well in the past, and he wasn't too sure this one would shape up to be much better. So far they appeared to be the only guests, and already Darwin had wandered off-- no doubt it was to find some eggnogg and mistletoe.

As Colin surveyed the nearly empty room and waited for people to arrive, he stood off in a corner. Arriving early had its benefits: the host, or hosts, whoever they were had left a clipboard on the main table. Picking it up, the Sergeant looked it over. The list itself read like a condensed version of the Lazarus files. Each guest was listed by name, but also, by ability.

Looking out the window, Colin sighed heavily. Global Warming was an insatiable b*tch goddess. To his dismay, it looked like he'd have another holiday season without snow. Until he came upon a name on the guest list that piqued his interest:

As he helped himself to a glass of eggnogg, Colin noticed a few guests starting to arrive. As a test to keep his wits sharp, the soldier imagined he could identify the guests one by one, having perused the guest list, simply on sight.

A young teenage boy stood off to the side, placing a large gift on the far table in the back. It was the boy from the file, Scott Lewis.

Suddenly, Colin Gryffth got an idea...

He approached the young man and extended his hand to him.

"Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Colin, you must be Scott."

As Scott smiled, Gryffth continued, "You and I both know it's not a proper Christmas without some flakes, but in this climate, that's near impossible, quite a shame really. What do you say you help us out with a White Christmas, eh lad?"

Way to kill the mood:P

Chris flies in, a trail of lights forming behind him high in the sky. He lands and hits Gryffth hard. Stop killing the mood. This is supposed to be happy.

Bryony entered the hall; strolling she found a small niche by the wall where she stood and surveyed her surroundings.

Rosalind zipped in at 20mph and almost collided with Scott Lewis.

Ryker arrived at the party with Kelly slinking behind him. They'd met in the parking lot and she was nervous to see everyone with abilities. Ryker only made it worse when he said there were double to amount she met. He looked around at the brightly lit room, perfectly finished with Christmas trees, mistletoe, and several other items. Kelly spotted Chris and jumped up, waving.
"Hey Chris!!" She said loudly, dashing over to him.

[Esquin]

Kelly! Staying out of trouble? Seeing Ryker he smiled at his old friend. Not so much I see. He laughed. Chris sent a gentle magnetic blast at the speakers and the volume of the music started increasing. I've learned some new tricks. He said, then gave an apologetic look to anyone who's phones or watches had been betwene him and the speakers.

Before The Party Starts

Kenji stood by the balcony of the building waiting for the other guests to arrive. He looks in the sky seeing no fireworks. He points his finger at the sky as a small glow appeared before his finger. He released several small explosions in the sky loud enough to be heard in the whole building and wrote up, A big Merry Christmas. "Heh, there you go... some fireworks..." he said as he smiled and sat on the chair waiting for the party to start. Kenji takes a view of the surroundings seeing a couple of familiar faces. "Heh, haven't seen them in a while... wonder if that weather dude remembers me from The Syndicate... hmm..." he said while sitting back and looking at the sky.

Jeremy decideds to go to the party. He's ready to cause some more drama, with his wonderful looks and awesome personality. All the girls will be swooning all over him, and they guys, jealous as hell. Just the way he liked it.
