Indeed, what you say is true. When Lovecraft wrote the words "that which is not dead can eternal lie; and with strange eons even death may die" he was hinting at Mr. Muggles' eternal nature.

Speak not so loudly the name of He Who Relishes Our Pain and Agony for His Amusement! If you do, then he might do something truly awful like turn you inside out to listen to your gurgled screams. Or worse.
