If you're a Comcast Internet user, there is a major problem brewing. Comcast is not allowing our emails to reach its customers, and are bouncing back all our emails. So, if you have Comcast Internet, and subscribes to threads to receive notification when someone replies to your post, please unsubscribe, or change your email address to something other than Comcast. If you don't change your email address, then you won't get any notification when someone replies to your subscribed threads or PMs you.
Thanks.
CORRECTED: "Comcast is NOT allowing our emails..." not "Comcast is NOW allowing our emails..."
Add AOL to that list. AOL emails are bouncing back lately...
So if you have Comcast or AOL, please DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to threads. Or use another email address.
Really? I only have to call them two or three times a week to have them reset my IP address so that I can access the net.
I sometimes think that going on to DSL would actually be faster with all the time that I spend down.
Comcast is a terrible company. Now that they've succeeded to what amounts to a monopoly in Houston, their service has become unbearably awful. I would rather suffer through DSL's slower speeds and occasional phone lines going down than travel down the road to Hell -- aka ordering an installation from them.
Wasn't Comcast the company that got busted recently for denying access to customers downloading large files who didn't subscribe to their premium service? I recall reading something on MSNBC a week or so back on it.

I don't know, but I do know they suck donkey balls. What's worst, Texas seems to be allowing them to run roughshod over everyone. And here I thought monopolies were illegal.
I only got comcrap because I couldn't get Verizon broadband to work but I think I know what was wrong last time so I think I'm going to try with Verizon again.
Lately it takes me two tries just to get online (I keep getting connection reset the first time after waiting for 5 minutes) and then it keeps stalling when loading new pages. It's like the ads cause the whole system to hiccup. When I go to HSX anymore, it takes me 5 or 6 refreshes just to get to the login page.
Stupid comcrap.
