Bad news, guys. Or, at the very least, potentially bad news. Either way, it’s not good news for Heroes fans. According to The Futon Critic, NBC has elected to indefinitely shelf plans for the Heroes spin-off, Origins, which was scheduled to air after the Heroes Season 2 finale, a move that the network had hope [...]
Well, I won't say I'm not a little disappointed as I still think the idea is a good one, but, one good thing that could come out of this is that NBC will also shelve the mind-numbingly stupid idea of ending Heroes proper this season in April, and bump it back to May. We might have to eat an extra break, but I think it'll be best for both the show and the network.

Re: NBC Cancels Heroes: Origins Spin-off?
I was looking forward to the Eli Roth episode, too. *sigh* Oh, well...it's just a writer's strike. Seriously, though, some of the scriptwriters in Hollywood need to find something else to do.

This strike could be pretty bad for heroes. they've been talking about it in the CBR interviews. they mentioned that heroes filming won't continue during the strike. So if the strike happens mid-season, where ever they are in filming is where it'll stay until the strike is settled.
So if this strike goes on for a while, that could delay the entire season of heroes, not just Heroes origins.

ha ha don't worry, we have plenty of talented people here that can take over the writing part during the strike... we all have excellent vision and plenty imagination to keep the shows keep going.
