I don't know if you guys remember me talking about making a sort of more visual RPG that would behave like a dynamic website and would keep track of stuff for people like their powers, location, etc.
So, I finally decided to give it a start. I don't have anything yet because I just started working on it but I need Sam to check if the server host has support for ASP.NET websites as that's what I'm gonna be developing the game in and I know he was interested on hosting it.
Here's some features I'm planning for the game to have:
Main Page
-- Login button [takes people to their account once they log in]
-- Register button [pretty obvious this one]
-- Rules [takes people to a page explaining the rules]
-- Help button [takes people to a page explaining how to play]
-- About [tells a little stroy about the author, this website and how the game came to life, copyright stuff and the likes]
Register Page
-- First Name [required]
-- Middle Name [optional]
-- Last Name [required]
-- Login Name [required]
-- Login Password + Confirmation [required]
-- Birthdate [required]
-- Original In-Game Name
-- Original In-Game Age
-- Original Power + Element [read at the end about powers and elements]
Admin Page [only available to game admins, lol]
-- Add/Remove Locations
-- Add/Remove Powers
-- Add/Remove Elements
-- Edit user locations/powers/elements [for punishments or some other reason]
-- Edit user priorities [allows to make someone admin or mod or to take admin (if you're the top admin) and mod rights]
-- Ban [used to ban users forever]
-- Kick [used to ban users temporarily]
Moderator Page [for mods]
-- Add/Remove Locations
-- Add/Remove Powers
-- Add/Remove Elements
-- Edit user locations/powers/elements [for punishments or some other reason] (for mods this only works on the location assigned to the mod)
-- Edit user priorities [allows to make someone admin or mod or to take admin (if you're the top admin) and mod rights]
-- Ban [used to ban users forever]
-- Kick [used to ban users temporarily]
User In-Game Stats
-- Name
-- Age
-- Gender
-- Family Tree [if a user wants to start a character that belongs to some other characters family a request will be sent to the users implicated in this and if they accept then a user can be someone elses brother or father, etc]
-- Experience [this grows over time, allows user to get more and better powers or create new characters with different powers]
-- Health [shows how many health user has left before the character dies (can be healed)]
-- Power + Element [shows which power(s) the user has]
-- Money [each user starts with a certain ammount of money and then has to earn more either by working or stealing]
-- Appearance [allows appearance customization, only for description purposes]
-- Items [where the user keeps the items (which change stats on the user, for example if the user has no powers he can have guns here in order to increase his "power", if the user has a car, he pays less for travelling, etc)]
-- Poisoned? [keeps removing health until effects wore off or is cured]
-- Burned? [almost like poison except it doesn't wore off by itself, only if cured]
-- Paralyzed? [slows down the player and makes him fail attacks]
-- Wounded? [keeps removing health until user is patched up]
-- Messages [allows users to communicate between each other]
-- Suggestions [allows the user to request a certain power, element, item, etc so that the admins can add it if they feel it's worth it]
User Page
-- Travel [requires money if it's too far away]
-- Get [allows user to get an item if it's available on the same location as the user]
-- Drop [allows user to drop items on a certain location]
-- Give [allows user to give an item to someone else]
Powers and Elements
Quick explanation: In the game there's 3 things that influence the powers, those are:
1. Power Type
2. Element
3. Experience
A power type will determine how the power is used:
-- Psychic Power
-- Physical Power
-- Electronic Power
-- Psychic Power that requires the user to use their hands for example
-- Absoption power [only users with a lot of experience can create characters with these powers (at least the stronger absorption powers)]
Then each power type has it's own elements and subelements:
-- Psychic Power
---- Mind control
---- Body control
---- Telekinesis
---- X Manipulation
------ Objects
------ Ice
------ Metal
------ Water
------ Fire
------ Earth
------ Air
------ Electricity
------ Other
------ All
---- X Control
------ Objects
------ Ice
------ Metal
------ Water
------ Fire
------ Earth
------ Air
------ Electricity
------ Other
------ All
---- X Creation
------ Objects
------ Ice
------ Metal
------ Water
------ Fire
------ Earth
------ Air
------ Electricity
------ Other
------ All
---- Illusion
---- Reality manipulation
---- Health absorption
---- Copycat
---- Dream manipulation
---- Astral projection
---- Healing
---- Power virus [makes other people gain this power based on chance]
-- Physical Power
---- Super strength
---- Levitation
---- Phasing
---- Breath under water
---- Health absorption
---- Power virus [makes other people gain some of the users powers based on chance and their experience but for free]
---- Regeneration
---- Healing
---- Invisibility
-- Electronic Power
---- Computer control
---- Internet control
-- Absoption power [only users with a lot of experience can create characters with these powers (at least the stronger absorption powers)]
---- Absorption by killing
---- Absorption by will
---- Temporary Absorption
---- Absorption by touching
---- Absorption by being near
---- Unwilling absorption [user absorbs the power but can only use it sometimes]
These are just examples, there will be much more and anyone can give suggestions on what other powers they would like to see coming with the 1.0 version of the game.
Each user will have the right to create or destroy up to a certain number of characters, once they die they disappear from the list but can always create a new character, their experience will be kept.
Characters get powers but using their experience to "buy" them, some powers are more valuble than others so they will cost more, another option is to only have a few powers and keep upgrading them to get stronger on those powers.
The In-game map will be a map of the world as we know it, there will be a default list of countries, cities, etc and more will be added on request as far as those countries, cities, towns, villages, places, whatever exist.
Any more questions just ask, c&c are welcome, as well as suggestions and questions.

I can use your style, if you feel like making a more detailed list of sub-powers coming of those 4 feel free to do it, credit will be given :P
It just needs to follow a tree-like format, Power being the Main branch, those 4 its sub-branches and so on
I need it to go down as detailed as possible on what is being used on the power (for example, fire) because those define what attacks and defenses the character will get depending on their powerlevel.
A quick example:
I'm assuming you would place some kind of element kinesis in the Elemental powers category.
It would be something like this.
Elemental
-- Fire
---- Control
------ Body flame (turn a part of body on fire)
------ Fire ball (throw at enemies and watch them burn :P)
-------- Small
-------- Medium
-------- Big
------ Pyro (set something on fire)
---- Manipulation
------ Fireman (stops fires)
------ Fire eater (absorbs fire power that can be used on fire control attacks)
Something like this, I guess.
Each attack does damage depending on the main level of the power (Control, Manipulation which can be upgraded), what element is being used, the power type, the attack itself, the attack level (attacks can be upgraded too), what part of the body will be used and so on (I'll actually have a body with parts which the user can select for defense or attack purposes), the more parts of the body are used the stronger the attack but the more power you use (kinda like chakra or something).

Sepparate, because it would be a lot of work for me and anyone who wants to help to input every character, storyline, etc so far into the game.
EDIT: Apparently this sites server doesn't support ASP so I'll be getting a server that supports it and hosting it there. I suggested to Sam that we make a website partnership, we manage the sites sepparately, if he wants to he can have admin rights there and the rpg site will then use an "Heroes The Series Dynamic RPG" logo and a link to this site, and this site will have a link to the RPG. For those who are asking how this will help either of the sites; Well, it brings more people to both of them. If people find out about the Dynamic RPG they will come here and probably join and the people who come here will check out the Dynamic RPG and join too :P
