I highly doubt Kaito's murderer is West (he's too young) and probably not Nathan (who has no motive for killing Kaito).

If the Briton calling himself "Takezo Kensei" indeed has an extended lifespan, then I would suspect him of being Kaito's murderer. However, not enough is known about him to make any definitive conclusions.

We know that Kaito recognized his murderer--the two must have some ties with one another--and that the murderer is, as best as I could tell, a Caucausian male. Initially, I suspected Claude...but Claude would just become visible next to you before killing you...or just afterwards, so you would know who killed you.

It couldn't have been Mr. Sanders (Niki's father)--wrong build.

It wasn't Sylar--he would have nothing to gain by killing Kaito.

My conclusion--Kaito was killed by a character whom we have not yet met.

Yeah, if its not Kensei, then its definitely someone we haven't met yet.

I seriously don't think it's anyone we've met. It's giving the show another doorway on introducing a new character/villin (whatever makes you tickle).

If that DID happen, it would be interesting to see how Hiro would handle it, because it would be a greater disillusionment of his journey than loosing his powers in season 1.
