Default Will there be more series after series 2?

Hi everyone, my names Jonathan and i'm from the UK. Needless to say, i'm totally engrossed in watching Heroes. At the moment, i'm still in the middle of watching series 1 on BBC2 every wednesday evening. I noticed that theres a series 2 thats being premiered in the US which i only just realised as i did'nt know there was to be a follow-up to series 1. So then, as series 2 gets off, does anyone know whether there are plans for a third series and beyond?

This is totally the wrong place for this.

Moved to the All About the Show forum

And to Cockney Reject: yes, a third season is a very strong possibility. Tim Kring signed a two-year deal over the summer. The only way that deal gets voided is if the show's ratings start to tank.

I sure as hell hope so. As long as the ratings are still good and the storm around it doesn't die I see no reason they wouldn't continue the series.

I'm sure we'd all like to see season 3 and 4 and 5... as long as the show doesn't jump the shark.

Hey Jonathan welcome to the forum! I'm the UK too but I've watched the whole series - ordered the region one DVD from America and got it three weeks ago!! As for your question about future series my dad read somewhere that there is planned to be around five series depending on their ratings that is! I can't wait to see more I love it too!!!!

Enjoy the forum it is a really great place to find out the latest news and gossip so enjoy

Good grief - a possibility that there COULD be more than THREE series?? Well thats amazing. I just hope though that the series won't go off the boil, because in the past some tv series just go on far too long for their own good (i.e. Only Fools and Horses - that show should've quit when it was ahead).

Oh my God I totally agree! Only fools and horses went on WAY too long! I think this show is so great though because it actually goes somewhere. It has been tagged as Lost crossed with X-Men which I agree. I watched Lost but was so fustrated that went nowhere but this series has kept me glued to my seat! Can't wait to see the rest - I've just download the series two premier today and loved it but the sound cut out right at the end!!!

Hey hope you dont mind me asking: How is it you've already seen the whole series of season 1 then? Did you buy the Box Set ages ago? (infact , i've actually just bought the Box Set myself off of ebay at a very reasonable price!!).

How reasonable a price exactly????? hehe I ordered the boxset from Ebay a week before it was released in America - I have two multi region DVD players in the house if you don't count the two compter DVD players so I knew I could watch them at home. About two weeks later it arrived so I've seen it all and the pilot for season two. So you are watching it on BBC 2/3 then??? I watched some of it the other night on BBC2 as I was board after a long day at work, it cheered me up a lot
