Okay so I was reading the thread that talked about symbolisms between the characters on the show and how their powers symbolize something with their lives or personality. So I was just owndering whether you can make a similar connection with your character(s).

I'll go first:
Imua-Premonitions & Projections:
His didn't come readily to me as my other two characters. But then I thought about the background I gave him. Because of his childhood (parents divorced, alcoholic mom, dad never there) I figured he'd want to better himself and make a better future-giving him the ability to see the future. His other power came from him always wanting to escape his reality and make a new life-projecting to various places and a small ability to project illusions

Yuki-Snow/ice Manipulation:
Because she has "rich" parents, they could always be away on business trips and never have a lot of time for her which made her jaded to emotions. She grew an icy heart because her parents were always traveling to do business and she just stopped caring.

Justin-Reactive Adaptation:
I didn't give him a background yet, but I came up with one when thinking how his power could connect with him. His dad is in the Military and they moved all over the country and even lived outside of the country. He had to adjust to new schools, new homes and new climates, locations etc. So his adaptive power came from his constant change and him having to get used to it.

If ya'll think this thread is stupid, just say so, but I thought it would be interesting to see what people came up with.

Brooke Mars - Ideality.
Brooke comes from a wealthy family , She always gets what she wants. So , her power, allows her to change anything to her ideal needs. Whatever she wants, she gets.

Addie- Fear Channeling- Addie had been abused when she was younger, he dad hit her alot, she was always afraid. Until one day she was able to make other people afraid, of what they were afraid of.

Sophie- Invisiblilty- Sophie doesnt really wish she was invisible, its the majority of everyone else she wishes could be, but she cant make them invisible, only her as shes learning

Brady- Echolocation- Bradys always had a decent life, unlike his half sister, whose life has been pretty crummy. Bradys always been a good listener to other peoples problems.

William LeBaron- He had always wanted to change things, make the world better etc. Transmutation.

Ava Raven-Weapon creating

Ava's father was a wealthy business man and came into her powers during a kinap attempt on herself. She needed a weapon and so created one.

Mr. MJT (Triggs Lol)

When younger, always wanted to change things to suit him. He also managed to manipulate people, making them do what he wants. He loved the way small things worked and fitted together, and theres nothing smaller than particles.

And that's the difference between Triggs and LeBaron.. I wanted things to be better, he wanted things to suit him.. lol... *poke*

This is a really interesting thread.

Caleb Koch - He always felt a little on his own when he was young and so he created an imaginary friend to relate to. His power lets him do that too.

Amelia Pechlos - She was always left on the outs because she couldn't speak English and no-one could understand Spanish. Her power helped her to bridge that gap.

Ethan Pickett - He's a concert pianist and a perfectionist - every sound must be right or he gets irritated. His power lets him do that (however, he refuses to use it to affect his own performance - he just thinks that would be disrespectful)

[Darko]

Grayson Dorian-He felt different all of his life. He never really grasped how different until he hit high school. It was his strong will and belief of possibility that allowed him to access that dormant place in his mind. Never feeling that he was fully in control of his life, he now could control anything he willed to.

Elijah Groves-Elijah grew up a wealthy and good-natured boy on the east coast. His parents fought often though as he grew. Each time he heard his father's menacing tone towards his mother, he felt an angry heat build up inside of him. Each fight creating more heat to build up until one day he learned he could release this heat and manipulate it.

Lukas Morgan-having his parents wrenched away from him at a particularly young age, Luke went through many stages of life that caused him pain. It was only the purity of his strong desire to absolve that pain for others that allowed him to heal and transfer pain through touch.

Ryker Orr - He has a dark past, good present, he's hoping his future wont be a bad one, his power lets him see other people/places/things past and future. So that helps him fix things. When he was on the streets of New York, seeking "revenge", he used the past to see what they had done and if they deserved it. (That sucks, I know. I'm winging it)

Jason Hurley: He loves to cook, so naturally he has a stove in the palm of his hand with the fire ability. He can cook things anywhere.

Kelly Bourne: She had a nice life growing up, but everything seemed to move too fast. She didn't want to grow up this fast so her power allows her to slow things down, freeze time, and fast-forward time. She only fast-forwards in class
