Watchmen Movie Update
Dan Koller, a writer for the Dallas Morning News, is reporting the latest tidbits about the Watchment movie, which is quickly becoming a reality...after at least a decade of speculation.
Projected release date: 6 March 2009 Currently assigned director: Zack Snyder Dr Manhattan - Billy Crudup Rorshach - Jackie Earle Haley Nite Owl II - Patrick Wilson Silk Spectre - Malin Akerman The Comedian - Jeffrey Dean Morgan Ozymandias - Matthew Goode It will still be set in 1985 and will NOT be "toned down" just to get a PG-13 rating. This is good--to be faithful a Watchmen movie must maintain the gritty realism. Set the countdown timers now, folks. quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
