I just got back from seeing it - and I thought it was hilarious. There were some great scenes and a decent plot. It was great - although they pushed some boundaries I hadn't expected (when you see it you'll understand) - but it was still great.
I'd say that it was money well worth spending. What about anyone else?
I wanna see it...BUT I still have yet to see Harry Potter 5... BUY Harry Potter 7, and BUY all my books for school...and seeing as I don't get paid until Sept...yeah...I'm gonna be broke...
Yattaaa!!! just saw it too and it was surprisingly funny. Yes they did cross a lot of boundaries like Barts P**** and the color "Black". But that aside it was short so I had enough time to catch harry potter too.

I loved it!!!! A lot of people are saying it wasn't all that good but I thought it was so funny! I loved that Jebas was slipped in its one of my favorie episodes!
I thought it was quite a big let down, the plot and therefore a lot of the jokes were passable but were linked in to environment issues and Al Gore which is the current standard fayre and pretty commonplace, from the Simpsons i was expecting more than the standard joke of the day. Having said that there was a couple of real laugh out loud moments and it is worth a watch, but i think they missed an opportunity. Where as Homer was once a loveable moron now he comes across more as just evil and insensitive.
