Name: Samantha “Shay” Evans
Age: 20
Powers: Mind control and possession
Do they have a dark past?: Samantha has had a bad childhood. An alcoholic father and drug addicted mother. She was basically left to raise herself and her younger brother, Caleb. When she was 14 her brother mysteriously disappeared and has never been found leaving Samantha to feel extremely guilty. At 18 Samantha was raped.
How did they discover their power(s)?: She discovered her mind control ability with her father. After years of abuse, she couldn’t take it anymore. She took all of her pain and anger and focused on her father, making him feel what she felt and making him hurt himself. She eventually drove him crazy and got him put into a psychiatric ward. Since then she realized she could make people feel pain, do and say things she commanded them to do.
Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?: In the beginning she’s neutral, doing small things to get what she wants and needs, but then she becomes a villain when loses herself to her powers when she starts acting on revenge.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?: 5 years from now Samantha is far from Las Vegas now, but travels around the country escaping from the law. She also has an encounter with those who were involved in her rape. She does change in the sense that she doesn’t care about anyone anymore when she used to. She’s completely numb and hurts a lot of people for revenge.

How did they discover their power(s)?: Quite by accident. But it was during a emotionally charged situation. She was running froma group of kids her teased her alot and once cornered she had accidentally formed a blade in her hand.
Do they have a dark past?: Only recent. And not so much dark as confused.
Why is she a Hero/Villain?: She is kinda a hero in that she helps those she sees as in need. But she has helped both sides before.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Keeping a low profile. Because of the way she is she'll most likely continue to try and help any she can, reagardless of which side they stand on.
Do they change or stay the same? Change. I think that in doing what she does it will bring her harm. Not physical so much (but operhaps) but mainly emotional.

Name: Kara Jung Park "Black Widow"

How did they discover their power(s)?: It occured shortly after her rape. She had it cut off during the attack but learned later that it was with her then, she just never knew about it. Afterwards she started "policing" the predators on the streets.
Do they have a dark past?: Before no. But since her brutal attack she has opened a side of her that was always locked away. She speaks little, and even less to males.
Why is she a Hero/Villain?: She considers herself a hero, but I think the police might say otherwise. SHe says it's because she removes the crimnals off the street. The police say without any regard to the legal system.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Not sure but whereever she is she's not gonna be to open about her role.
Do they change or stay the same? Same. Her pain and anger run deep on this.

How did they discover their power(s)?: Shortly before she ran away from home. She used it to skip school and such but when her parents confronted her about school, she could not explain to them.
Do they have a dark past?: Only after she left home and the 8 years she spent on the street to finally getting her own place.
Why is she a Hero?: Hero. She doesn't want to see other girls go through what she did living on the street. She is a big fighter when it comes to someone threatening a woman.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Actually she likes her current place and would only change if it suited her goals.

How did they discover their power? Quite by accident. She was tormented by the school bullies and one day she was trying to hide when she truely did. Talk about freaking out. Melding in a wall. But it didn't stop there.
Do they have a dark past? You bet. Was once married to a abusive man. That last two years before she finally got out and disappeared. Kinda resenting that time as it seemed no one helped or cared.
Why is she a hero/villian? She really isn't either. It's almost a life of fancy. She's had nearly 6 months of indenpendence and she's living it up. Though she has a soft spot in her heart for those in need.
What do you see her doing 5 years from now? SHe hopes that life hasn't dealt her a full hand yet. Maybe there is something out there for her. In 5 years, she would like to see this proven true.
Do they change or stay the same? Hard to say but unless something changes her this is all that she knoews.

How did they discover their power(s)?: He came home from school and saw his father killing his mother with another him there. He was extremely freaked out and days later, it happened.
Do they have a dark past?: Yeah, his father killed his mom and tried to kill him, Ryker had to run a few times and went downhill when he started killing and hurting people in New York.
Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?: He's a hero because he goes with whichever side he agrees with and he agrees with the heroes that Triggs needs to be stopped.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?: Hopefully he'll still be with the heroes and the dark future wont come true, and he'll still be, or already have, saved the world.

How did they discover their power(s)?: He was cooking and he lit the burner on fire without turning the stove on.
Do they have a dark past?: Nope, he lived a relatively normal life, except when his brother was killed, but other than that he's always been a good guy.
Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?: He's a hero because its in his nature.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?: I see him with his own restaurant and still with Tessa and occasionally stopping what he's doing to save the world.

How did they discover their power(s)?: Kelly was late for class back when she was in high school and she didn't want a detention, so she was running down the hall seconds before the bell rang and everyone froze. She was freaked out at first but made it to class on time.
Do they have a dark past?: No, pretty normal.
Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?: She's a hero because she wants to be, haha.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?: I think she'll be helping the heroes and hopefully found a good job.

How did they discover their power(s)?: The earliest manifestation of his power was an imaginary friend he created for himself called Joshua. He began gaining full control of his power when he was 16. He needed money to catch a bus, and managed to duplicate himself and the money.
Do they have a dark past?: Not really. His brother, Jeph, was murdered in Texas. But apart from that, not really.
Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?: Hero because he's not particularly mean-spirited and it just doesn't occur to him to use his powers for his own devious means.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?: He'll have changed a bit, simply because he'll have matured. He'd like to live a normal life, get married and have kids, but whether or not that will happen is undecided. In the 10 Years Gone timeline, he lives as two, the original Caleb and a duplicate who goes by Joshua Cainen for safety.

How did they discover their power(s)?: Her first use of her power was an unconcious use when she became friends with a boy named Luke. She believed that he spoke Spanish too, but was unaware that she was speaking English. On her ninth birthday, two of the children at the orphanage she lived at were adopted. Having never spoken English before, she somehow managed to understand a conversation between the children and the adopting mother and contribute in English.
Do they have a dark past?: She lived in Mexico until she was 5. At that time, her parents were killed by revolutionaries and she was rescued by American missionaries who brought her to the orphanage in Philly. But not much of a dark past.
Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?: Hero. She believes her power to be a gift from God (it first manifested itself on her ninth birthday) and doesn't see that she could use it for evil.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?: She will have developed her powers so that they are entirely natural and may use it to create confusion amongst her enemies - if she has any. It is possible (I still haven't decided) that she will go by the name of "Babel" for security reasons - or something like that.

Do they have a dark past?:All his life his parents fought, so when they got divorced he lashed out and developed a little bit of an anger problem

Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?:He's a hero because he doesnt want to end up like his father

What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?:I think he pretty much stays the same but that little anger problem will start to take over, thats if he can learn to control it.

Powers: Personal DNA manipulation AKA Shapeshifting.
How did they discover their power(s)?: Touched a man named Bennet while vacationing in Odessa, TX then slowly, and painfully, turned into the man.
Do they have a dark past?: His past with the Company or OWI has tested his morality in ways few can relate to. Not a dark past per se, more like a wide variety of gray shades past.
Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?: The question doesn't really apply. James is neither a hero nor a villain. His tendancy to do what ever he needs to do to survive often conflicts with his somewhat selfish attitude. On the flip side he does not relish in doing other people harm, he just does it to stay alive and often regrets his actions later.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?: In 5 years James will be approched by the CIA to help take down terrorist organizations. His ability to become anyone, a certain adeptness in the cloak and dagger world, and the fact that James Gwai Long doesn't exist in any known database will help to propel him into the highermost areas of espionage and counterintelligence

How did they discover their power(s)?: BASE jumping accident. Parachute malfunctioned and slammed head first into the ground. Stood up and walked to the nearest hospital to make sure he was indeed alive and it wasn't just shock keeping him going.
Do they have a dark past?: Very much so. Spent later childhood as a very good drug dealer, learned the basics to fighting and killing. Joined US Navy to kill people and get paid for it. Total body count, somewhere around 30, 40.
Why is he/she a Hero/Villain?: Growing up in a rough neighborhood demanded it of him.
What do you see them doing 5 years from now? Do they change or stay the same?: Still a private mecenary, much better at assassination. His power will have the long term effect of nearly doubling his life span.
